Introduction
A follow up to this thread which was deemed a stomp in favor of the Mecha Pilot; Simon the Digger. He will be replaced with his partner, that he’s adventured with, throughout the entire series; Boota

Rules
  • Speed Equalized
  • Excalibur Sonic is being used
  • Boota starts in his Pigmole Form

He starts off by projecting his Spiral Power, in a way where it shrouds his entire body. This is a defense mechanism of his. With enough time, he can evolve to greater heights, so much so that he transforms into a body more suited for H2H combat. He can evolve in the middle of the fight, which becomes more potent the more Spiral Power is used
 
Boota got the AP advantage here, since he's basically a pigmole SGGL, any attack from Boota can oneshot Sonic. And since Boota has Spiral Energy cloaked around him, he should be able to null energy based attack like how he nulled Anti Spiral's beam attack.
 
How high does Boota scale in 3-A again? Sonic's dura neg is like a finishing off move, and aside from the sword's abilities I don't see how much Sonic can try to do here.

He’s half of what powers Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann. So he can one shot, but in his Pigmole form, he only uses energy projection as defense, and with enough time to build up Spiral Power to evolve into his evolution state, and go on the offensive, all with greater strength and speed

Yeah, I was just gonna say that Sonic doesn't have so many chances here because he is on massive AP disadvantage to deal off and he doesn't start by using the finishing blow Excalibur has.
