A Pokemon 2-B that isn't the CT vs A Cthulu Clock

I know pretty good bit about Jas and Mesprit, but I've linked Cal in to see what he thinks. Jas and Mesprit both have advantages in this fight for different reasons.

Jas is not a benevolent character. When insulted by the player, she just tells him that life is an aberration and will end before wiping the multiverse (this was a non-canon ending to the confrontation). She will probably lead with her outright attack, which shouldn't do much to Mesprit considering her durability.

Mesprit will probably also try to attack, although she will soon realize this will be a bit harder than expected because of Jas' abstract nature.

Well let's start with Mesprit. What would she do in a combat scenario you think? She hasn't really been in much of a fight to my knowledge.

According to the horrific myth, touching Mesprit will prompt it to emotion hax you. But before that, it's probably more likely to use Confusion or something.

Jas doesn't have many emotions to drain from the get-go. Confusion would be effective if it wasn't for the nature of Jas. Jas will probably try to just kill Mesprit, and when that doesn't work she will probably try to drain her anima.

Anima absoption drains away the life, mind, and soul.

Interesting! I'll have to follow this.

Won't vote yet, but my gut feeling tells me the time squid takes this.

Mesprit exists as literal emotions, is it possible that this could make it difficult for Jas to permanently defeat Mesprit?

Emotions are just another piece of a metaphysical mind, which is a facet of anima in RuneScape. It shouldn't be too challenging.
