To me, it doesn't make sense to assume "space" being said automatically alludes to multiverse when we had instances of "space" being used normally. It's definitely not a synonym to parallel universe as I explained. So the "infinite space" and "infinite time" evidences seem more like filler.

It's basically a combo of mentions that allude to M.W.I., and statement of infinite space merged together to make the claim, I personally don't believe it's enough but eh.

We take that interpretation because space, in relation to Palkia, generally refers to its mastery over parallel dimensions too. You already pulled the quote where it literally says, "space is ever-expanding dimensions," that inextricably links the two. Parallel dimensions are but an aspect of space in the verse and are treated as a natural extent of Palkia's Spatial Manipulation.

I have read your original post, and the attempt to say space means cardinal/literal spatial axes in these instances are frankly unconvincing. In most instances, "space" is either going to be coupled with dimensions or ambiguous in what it discerns to in the verse. The statement in regard to time from the Original Story just highlights their complex relationship, and the Hisuian Pokédex has nothing to do with the point you tried to make. Most mentions of space, in relation to Palkia or cosmology, generally refer to the multiverse/parallel dimensions. This is overwhelmingly the case in the franchise.

This is kind of a necro and seems pretty clear that it has been rejected based on the Japanese texts being far more clear about the infinite nature of the multiverse. I don't have anything else to add to this.
