Just going off of what the official RWBY Wiki explains his Semblance and how it works.
Yeah no, there are quite a few errors there, he's only demonstrated a need to concentrate when summoning four clones, other than that he's just casually summoned them mid-combat

Their reasoning was Goku has better martial arts skill (Which he does but Sun can match and likely counter with superior numbers), range (Again, he does, but Sun can deflect almost all of Goku's ranged attacks with his staff), and Solar Flare (Which would work on Sun himself but not his clones)

I just wanted to say this:

  • Better martial arts and more skills is the reason why some people voted for Goku. Clones is why people voted for Sun. That's not a debunk. Debunk would be when someone can prove Sun is a better martial artist and more skilled. Until then, the argument still stands as both are different reasons why a certain character CAN win and both reasons count.
  • Goku having more range is again not debunked. Sun can deflect but that doesn't debunk the advantage Goku has. The argument still stands. Similar case as above.
  • Solar Flare can again work on Sun, only not his clones. So this argument also stands.
  • Goku can go directly to attack Sun instead of his clones. This reasoning is also not debunked.
  • Goku still seems to be having a little higher AP. So that's not debunked as well.
Literally nothing is debunked. Just like some people have some reasons for Goku winning, other people have other reasons for Sun. In that case, votes of both sides are counted because they are valid. They are not debunked.

^^^This, so much this^^^

Except minor nitpick, there is barely an AP gap. And the only votes that are invalid are the ones that are completely false, like the ones saying Sun needs immense concentration and cant move when using his semblance, which unfortunately were a large majority of votes

He just said for reasons above. And I forgot to update the number to 7.

But there's only 6 now, and im still convinced Glass' vote is invalid

Plus there would have to be 8 for this to be added

The reasons above that Glass voted for aren't invalid.

Need you be reminded.

That's not his vote though. His vote is based on him thinking Wukong is much weaker than Goku as well as Poincina's faulty argument about Sun's clones

What part of, "For the reasons above", Suggests anything of the sort? He's not just using faulty arguments, he's also refering to ones that are valid, being that Goku has better capabilities as a martal artists and is highly adaptable. You're digging a bit too deep for a win here. At least, that's the impresion I'm getting here.

Well, is it, or is it not faulty reasoning? If we were to judge whether votes were totally unbiased, then Weekly, whom is known to support RWBY, would have to be completely discluded.

@DMUA If that's what he's basing his vote on then it's fine to count it

@Kyle How is trying to have votes based on accurate arguments biased?

Weekly did something like this in the battle of Whis and Ahri.

@Therefir

No he didn't actually. He completely debunked all arguments for Whis minus BFR and all the other side could try and do was cause a ruckus.

You can't scream bias because you damn well know that's hypocritical.

Op's thread was edited by Weekly and some votes was discounted for no reason.

"For reasons above" is not faulty if there are good reasons before.
