Nah. His personality was more so just a broken person trying to get back to the top and get revenge at anyone who has and will stand in his way- which he was doing pretty well until Law and Luffy. I don't see SMILEs having anything to do with him being a psychopath.
This argument doesn't really work when plenty of other characters who have kenbun haki haven't shown to use it in battle to protect themselves, such as the characters in Marineford who could have easily dodged or at least predicted attacks even when they weren't pressured/in an uncalm state...
What I meant by my inital statement was that just because someone is stated to have haki or a specific skil set doesn't mean it's been confirmed whether they used it on certain scenes or not, since none of that was confirmed until now.
We can't just say Law's kenbun haki is better than Doffy's...
1. Plenty of characters in One Piece (and media in general) have shown characters react to things without looking at it.
2. Katakuri also used haki to block Luffy's attack and his kenbun haki wasnt active at the time considering he only figured out Luffy's attack after being punched several...
The only problem with this is that there's still no proof of Doffy explicitng using kenbun haki. Like I said before, every official showing of kenbun haki was either explicitly drawn or stated in the manga. Doffy doesn't fit either of these standards tho.
Did I ever say that those powers dont exist in fiction? I'm saying the descriptions added on profiles aren't accurate and soley based off the games' description, which are literally just based off of the fact that you can make an attack deal literally 50% of its inital damage or raise the attack...
Most of the abilities are based off of the game mechanics (boosting stats by a certain amount for ex.) and nearly every ability or move in each Pokemon's profiles are just direct copy and pastes of in-game descriptions, like Heatproof "halving" fire-based attacks, Lightning Rod being stated to...
I agree with Gilga because stuff like Machamp still being accepted as mountain level+, even though the "moving mountains with one arm 'feat' " was retconned over the generations to slowly moving him down to megaton levels by the Pokedex, doesn't make sense and is usually from cherry picking such...
I'm just questioning it since I was curious. While I won't address everything else right now, I will say that it has been confirmed that Sanji and Fujitora have kenbun haki via direct statements or showings, such as Fishman Island when Luffy asks Zoro and Sanji if they sense Caribou or Sanji...
1) Just because he kicked before Fuji threatened him doesn't confirm him having precog. He could have arguably just been kicking him out of anger/irritation since Fujitora was threatening his protection and mocking him by mentioning Crocodile. That's the least convincing piece of evidence IMO...
How does Doffy have precog or possess things through the brain? He's always just stuck his strings in the body, not the brain. Precog has never been confirmed either.
Can I get a reference to that? I completely forgot about that but from my understanding of chapter 698, lineage factors only affect the DF (to create an artificial one), not DFs leading to linear factor changes.
Ah, gotcha. Regardless, it doesn't matter how fast Lucario gets, especially if it's not a significant boost, since Law's Room makes it so that the moment Lucario steps into Room, he's completely vulnerable. Seeing how well a tired law dealt against Doffy, he should handle Lucario easily.
Luffy is casual FTL for dodging Pacifista's lasers, which are stated to be replicas of Kizaru's light light DF. If we include noncanon, then Luffy dodged 3 lasers near instantly, and he scales to everone else, making Snakeman much faster than casual base PostTS Luffy.
Well, he never fought anyone with mind reading or precog besides his short encounter with blind Fujitora, who used presence sensing instead. Doffy doesn't have kenbun haki. Also, Law cut an entire mountain range, not just a single mountain, even after beating beaten up by Vergo and having his...
It's not about being invisible; he's literally cutting space apart. Unless Lucario can detect spacial disruptions, he's not dodging these attacks, especially if Law can teleport anywhere and anything instantly. Plus, Extremespeed doesn't work since speed is equalized. Not blitzing Law here.
Law takes this pretty easily. Nothing Lucario has will stop Law from cutting him apart spacially, teleporting or telekinetically moving all of his attacks back at Lucario, or even destroy his organs if necessary. 50 meters is well within Law's range, so Lucario would get ended pretty easily.
They definitely don't see them being emotionless or souless (both of which can be just exaggerative), especially considering how they acted towards Sanji near the end of WCI.
Official translation say that the beams are literal light and we get confirmation that they're photons. So the whole argument on whether or not it's light or not should end there.

Basically Rayleigh states that haki isn't any different from the soul. Even conqueror's haki is stated to be the soul itself. Ch 597.
Was there ever a discussion on how haki is your soul? I haven't been able to keep up with the wiki lately but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed or at the very least heavily implied that haki has spiritual/soul based abilities.
Would affect characters like Law since he manipulates the soul too...
