MCU Phase 5 General Discussion Thread

Recently completed Nearly (except She-hulk) all of the MCU from the scrap, so yeah i’d be participating in this thread now.
I wanted to join earlier but the first notification i got was a spoiler xD

Would this count for a mild power stone feat?

In Thor Ragnarok, Devil's Anus is a Magnetar.
"That looks like a collapsing neutron star inside of an Einstein-Rosen bridge!"
r/PowerScaling - Another MCU Galaxy Feat Calculated; Collapsing Neutron Star from Thor Ragnarok, and Galaxy-sized Asgard (All Explained!)
Even though the Junior Novelization is deemed "non-canon", it doesn't deny that the Devil's Anus is a Magnetar and that a teaspoon of it's atmosphere would have the mass of a hundred million tons.

r/PowerScaling - Another MCU Galaxy Feat Calculated; Collapsing Neutron Star from Thor Ragnarok, and Galaxy-sized Asgard (All Explained!)
  • According to NASA, a star's atmosphere is only four inches thick. In total, there is a 28.57 trillion difference between the star's atmosphere and its complete mass.
  • 2.857 x 10^13 x 1 x 10^8 gets 2.85 sextillion tons (Multi-Stellar) in a teaspoon or roughly 57 quintillion tons per cubic centimeter.
r/PowerScaling - Another MCU Galaxy Feat Calculated; Collapsing Neutron Star from Thor Ragnarok, and Galaxy-sized Asgard (All Explained!)

As a star's core collapses, its rotation rate increases due to conservation of angular momentum, so newly formed neutron stars typically rotate at up to several hundred times per second. The fastest-spinning neutron star known is PSR J1748−2446ad, rotating at a rate of 716 times per second or 43,000 revolutions per minute, giving a linear (tangential) speed at the surface on the order of 0.24c (i.e., nearly a quarter the speed of light). So this KE value would be somewhere around Star-Solar System level (which is congruent with the durability of a Neutron Star).

And to be frank, Thanos didn't show much of if any effort or physical pain when using the power stone to blow up the Statesman + it was heavily damaged when Thanos' ship attacked it.

Makes me think if this could possibly upscale Stormbreaker cutting through the Infinity Stone beam later into the movie.

So Captain Marvel is the strongest hero in the Sacred Timeline until Avengers: Doomsday drops?
Is there any problem with that? I know there were multiple tries to have Thor be put above her but that's what we have for now. And there are still movies and series before Doomsday who know maybe there is something else.

What I don't know is whether Infinity Scarlet Witch is more powerful than Infinity Ultron or not, and if the two of them fought, who would win?
Infinity Scarlet Witch was able to affect the Yggdrasil tree in a short time with a combination of chaos magic + the stones so she 100% has more raw power and that's irrefutable (Scarlet Witch is above Base Ultron.) However, Infinity Ultron used the stones better, he has better IQ (and Nigh-Omniscience within the Nexus of all Realities) along with equipment like Ultron Sentries, his Lance and planetoid.

Ultron has more win-cons in the bag to be honest; base stats won't matter since IU leads off with using the stones against powerful adversaries, he's used the stones a lot better and already has an entire army in his base kit.

The artbook for The Marvels has a statement from director Nia DaCosta claiming that current Captain Marvel is the most powerful being in the universe, though that would probably result in weirdly high scaling if taken at face value:

Everybody and their grandma has a statement like that and unlike Thor she has no chance of ever scaling to celestials meaning she cooked

Considering most of those arguments were already rejected, neither does Thor.
Considering that’s not how it works they aren’t accepted because not enough information not because he just doesn’t scale and celestials are outright confirmed to be creation gods just like the other gods at omnipotent city meaning Thor has access to this stuff and chances to scale Carol does not sorry

Sorry I was busy seeing Carol's profile officially at tier 4 while Thor is still in tier 5. Don't worry about that.

Lol bro thinks everything on the profiles matters when literally for the longest time they were all tier 6 and now they are all going to be tier 5 all because of evidence that isn’t new and has been around for years only ignored that shows how little the profiles matter in terms of their actual rating

Wasn’t everyone star level at one point😭😭😭

Well if the profiles don't matter why would you care to prove in this wiki that Thor is more powerful than Captain Marvel?
Also the argument that took them to tier 5 was not rejected before, your Thor 3-B was.
And now they are not and only Captain Marvel scales.

Because I want them to accept the truth not deny the inevitable

It wasn’t rejected because he just doesn’t scale its rejected because not enough information currently other gods like khonshu already outperforms carol best feat x100 Odin did the same with a tap of his staff just wait until thor comes back and you’ll see you can only deny for so long before you have to accept the truth

"I AM CAPTAIN MARVEL" snap

Pretty sure we talking about heroes not Khonshu who is more of an anti hero of not a straight up villain. And Odin is not a hero either and his feet only scales to creation not physically. To accept the truth you need an accepted CRT, so far ain't seen anything.

Apparently Secret Invasion director Ali Selim has confirmed (more than once it seems) that Skrulls are supposed to be 15 percent stronger than humans:

The Skrulls are clearly very strong, as we can see in the fight scenes. What are the physics of their abilities?
"Again, it’s just a rule that was created. The rule is that a Skrull in Skrull form or a Skrull in human form is roughly 15 percent stronger than a human. But they can’t fly or they don’t have any superpowers of any kind. They’re just 15 percent stronger."

Depending on whether this is taken as 15 percent stronger than average humans or peak humans, this could either put Skrulls at 9-A or put average level humans somewhere in 9-B.

Is the Howard the Duck one a reference to the Party Thor episode?

I'm not going to lie, but this is irrefutable evidence right here. Good job.

And the TVA comics does stuff like mention the temporal loom, Loki's sacrifice, and how the new timelines are allowed to grow beyond the singular 'Sacred Timeline'. Makes me wonder if these other timelines include the comic's universe too.

And the Space Stone's range should be amped to at least 5D/Low 1-C since Kahhori was able to enter another multiversal timeline via it's powers.
