It’s the same phrasing as like Kurama’s “earth shattering destructive power” people see earth and go oh oh oh planet, but the kanji used is rarely every for the planet earth (which has its own distinct kanji).
Absorbing chakra =/= absorbing all forms of energy (gravitational, geothermal, etc) from a planet. Honestly, those kinds of energies probably don’t mean much of anything, cuz Naruto Earth has high chakra despite being a normal planet, meaning there are plenty of other Earth-like planets but with far less chakra than Earth.

Just finished talking with ikemoto and kishimoto. He said said speed feats are coming in the next boruto chapter. He told me delta beams are tens of times faster than light. Will be confirmed in the next chapter

I think the absorbing energy has nothing to do with geothermal energy and stuff like that. Coz if it really did then otsusuki should really be absorbing stars not planets as those would be more efficient. They are more or less focused on the spiritual energy of the planet and the people itself along with everyone genetic make up to evolve themselves. So we can't use the absorbing stuff to scale

Probably stronger especially cause the anime expands on fights a lot (for example Naruto VS Sasuke) and they have actual feats, plus there's the filler arcs.
The problem is nobody is in a hurry to watch +700 episodes of an anime to make profiles.

I think it's implied at some point that Sage Mode is a far superior power up to the Butterfly Mode when Naruto shows up to fight Pain, which makes sense considering Choji in Base is comparable to Base Naruto and Kakashi at that point.

Tbh I'd buy Pain Arc SM Naruto > BM Choji since I think he was implied to be the strongest fighter there. But again nothing concrete.

We can scale like this:
Choji is strong enough to fight Gedo Mazo.
Gedo Mazo is strong enough to kill Hanzo. If it wasn't so, Nagato wouldn't have called Gedo Mazo when he wanted to kill Hanzo.
Hanzo is strong enough to put Jiraiya into sage mode.
Chiyo is relative to Hanzo.
Gamabunta is strong enough to fight Shukaku.
Gamabunta and Manda are relative, and Manda is capable of killing the armless Orochimaru.
Pain>It is certain that it was Deidara and Base Kisame, and Deidara defeated the 3-tails and Base Kisame defeated the 4-tails' Jinchiuuriki. Of course, Kisame may have switched to his Fused form off-screen, but we don't know.
I don't know how to make an upgrade based on this information. The idea of choosing Sage mode>Butterfly mode and getting it as a Sage mode 100x amp came to my mind, but I know that there is no such thing as one form that is more powerful than another form and that it will give as much power. More precisely, there is no rule that says every form must be multiple.

It will get rejected, Sage Mode isn't a multiplier anyways, it's additive like most other Naruto power ups.

Sage Mode being a multiplier would make sense given its mechanics, since the stronger you are (the more physical and mental/spiritual energy you have) the more natural energy you need to absorb to balance against them and enter sage mode. We just don’t know what exactly the multiplier would be afaik.
