Tbh, I only really knew Carl Weathers because of his role as Dillion in the first Predator movie from 1987. But obviously the death of someone who people liked and respected is never fun at all so RIP Mr. Weathers, I hope you can rest wherever it is you may end up.
Shit I just now imagined that when Arnold Schwarzenegger inevitably dies and sees him, he and Carl Weathers reenact the scene from Predator when Dutch and Dillion reunite ...I know it's far too soon for jokes, but it just popped in my head and now I feel bad for laughing.

How the **** does Wesker stand a chance against Kazuya? I've been lurking around a lot lately, so I've seen all the discussions pertaining to how much of a boost in power Kazuya's gotten in Tekken 8.
And you don't even need Kazuya to enter his Devil form, because his base form's enough to effortlessly speed blitz and reduce Wesker to subatomic particles with one punch before Wesker could even form a thought. Of course DB might try arguing that Wesker could infect Kazuya, but that's only if he's even able to tag him and withstand damage that is unfathomably beyond his ability to withstand or regenerate from

Hey @BlackDarkness679 does the first Tekken game alone give Kazuya way higher feats and scaling then Wesker or did it a few entries to get to the crazy power associated with Kazuya? Because I don't know much about Tekken, but it wouldn't surprise me if just the first game in the series is enough to make it a clear victory for Kazuya

His virus shouldnt be a wincon either, Devil Gene carriers have regeneration powerful enough to heal even huge chunks of your head destroyed, on this site thats mid level regen and thats taking seconds to heal
Tekken 1 is very grounded, its your typical martial arts flick where destroying walls and stuff like that are impressive
Tekken 2 about the same, there is an ending with Jack 2 dying to a satellite beam, parting clouds, it was calced at like town-city level
Tekken 3 same satellite this time causes destruction on the mountainous Alps, current calc didnt take that in account, its still a city range feat, with location considered it is mountain level from a calc outside the site and lowest speed value from the beam that got reacted, is mhs+, with distance from Tekken 7 its sub-rela+
EDIT: Tekken 4 is mostly grounded, Tekken 5, 6, 7 and so on is where they start power creep as it goes

I see....well regardless if the first game was grounded or not, Death Battle only cares about characters when they're at their peak power so they'd used Tekken 8 Kazuya by default and base alone would reduce Wesker to subatomic particles as I mentioned in my first comment. Like seriously, he blitzes Wesker and flicks him to the other side of the planet which turns him into vapor.
If that's the case then Kazuya's regeneration should enable his body to kill off the Uroboros cells within his body...hell I'm sure that if Kazuya even notices something's up, the action of entering Devil Form would very likely just instantly incinerate any harmful cells in his body due to how strong the Devil Gene is compared to Uroboros

Most of these "martial artists" also have casual superhuman feats, even by just playing the game as you normally do, you see how in one strike moves with pushback all of them can shatter the stages walls, floors etc no matter what arena it is? Thats casual for any character in the roster
Or how stages changes between rounds from daylight, midday, night time till one wins, any character in the roster can last so long

Bro believes in 6th Dimensional Dragon Ball and denies the cosmologies of Marvel and DC. He treats scaling and statements of the comics duo with the most stringent of skepticism while taking everything with DragonBall at face value. The worst type of powerscaling, watching both of his videos gave me a newfound respect for the Death Battle Research team even of they have their own share of **** ups.

1st of all Kazuya was dead before being thrown in the volcano, not because of it and his body still didnt burn to ashes
Its a moot point since Kazuya literally fights in a volcano near lava gushing out in Tekken 7 in base form before he chooses to go devil on Heihachi, let alone True Devil Kazuya causes a massive eruption with Akuma and guess what, Kazuya still was alive after that
Also iirc Wesker was burning in lava still, a rocket launcher caused an eruption fired at him and he died in his mutated form, his peak

I saw someone comment on the YouTube community post promoting the upcoming Cast that Wesker can scale above Zombies who can supposedly "react" to a Particle Gun which fires at 30% the speed of light, somehow allowing him to easily infect Kazuya.
