MASSIVE Tekken Downgrades

Status

I'm on it.

I went through the entire thread and this is what I found.

Tekken 6-C downgrade

Agree: 6 (Armorchompy, LIFE OF_KING, RanaProGamer, Shmeatywerbenmanjenson, Hellbeast, JohnConquest1)

Disagree: 1 (BlackDarkness79)

Unless I missed someone BlackDarkness is the only person in this thread who disagrees with 6-C Tekken downgrades seperate from everything else.
What about @SamanPatou ?

Wouldn't Violent Fragmentation be more accurate instead of regular Fragmentation?

Violent Fragmentation = 69 J/cc.

Energy = 4.71409673e17*69 = 7.77422999 Gigatons (Island level)
I already have that in the calculation linked in the OP

K so now I suppose we should discuss whether we should go with 7-A+ (901.357 Megatons) or 6-C (7.774 Gigatons)

I've already explained my reasoning for why I think it's violent Fragmentation in a previous comment so I am for 6-C

Makes me wonder: How did this calc pass to begin with ?
Didn't the staff member who agreed to the CRt that applied this bother to double check ?

Makes me also wonder about all the other stuffs that were blindly accepted without proper quality check on Tekken here.
Yes.

Double-checking is essential.

Hey buddy relax, people got real lives and don’t have time to drop everything they’re doing to come to your thread. He could just have vsbw open in another tab, like my brother in Christ not everyone is terminally online. Gahlee man vsbw isn’t everyone’s number 1 priority 😭 😭 🗿
You're being pretty dramatic here dude.

Everybody please calm down so this situation does not deteriorate further. 🙏

Thank you for the information. 🙏

The accepted calculation result can probably be used/applied then, if @SamanPatou thinks that it is acceptable to do so.

It’s true though that people have lives and VSBW is definitely not always the top priority

This is 100% fragmentation, looking at the feat

Alright.

How small do the fragments have to be to count at violent fragmentation?

Your answer would clear this whole thing up.

Okay. I suppose that we should use Saman's preferred solution then.

Typically they should be pretty small pieces. The asteroid was broken up into noticeably large chunks, hence why it should be fragmentation

Do you mean pebble sized?

An example would be what happened to Gokuento after Akuma punched it:

At the very end of Ryu's ending we see pebble sized chunks of the island fall into the water.

Would that count as violent fragmentation?

Chunks of that size should probably be fine for violent fragmentation

Also, since this would only scale to those who can one-shot Jack 6, then what rating would the high and mid tiers get?

I mentioned this earlier in the thread.

They would have to get 8-B from Feng Wei's boulder feat.

There are probably better feats to scale them with (Feng Wei's mountain bust for example) but they haven't been calced yet so 8-B for all mid and/or high tiers for the time being.

8-B? I thought you brought up Jack’s Low 7-B feat.

I brought that one up in relation to the top tiers in my original post.

Scaling the mid and/or high tiers to Gun Jack's force-field durability feels pretty wonky in my opinion but top tiers like Akuma and Kazuya can tank the satellite laser so they get Tier 7 scaling no problem.

Ah, but Gun Jack would still get 8-B, Low 7-B with force fields for his durability right?
