Ok so despite how pointless it sounds I just wanna say, I would REALLY like it if someone could do the bullet dodge mechanic but with Yagami and Kaito from Judgement and Lost Judgement, like you know the Bullet dodging calcs people use for Kiryu via standing point blank in front of bullets then weaving in Kiwami and for Majima in Kiwami 2?

I would like it if someone could find a clip or make a clip like that but for Yagami and Kaito instead, I even volunteer myself for doing all of the math required for those feats

So for the people that have finished Pirate Yakuza or know about the ending, what is your thoughts on it and the implications of Majima's profile if it was to be updated?

I binged the game regarding stats, as you can expect it's just more Wall - Small Building stuff and Subsonic - Supersonic bullet timing. That Ice Shot RPG Majima has could scratch City Block tho

The Giant Squid Bossfight can get good numbers via the large amount of Ink it can projectile vomit like a Cannonball and it is massively implied if not shown to create thunderstorms, one miraculously spawns as soon as it approach to fight Majima and his crew and during the boss fight it fires balls of electricity that utilizes the storm to generate thunderbolts and upon its defeat the storm immediately scatters

I got friend doing the nitty gritty on this game and he's gonna dm me anything from the substories or items that's worth noting, I'll add em to my Kiryu doc

Very cool, I wonder if it's possible to parry the purple lazer ships can shoot out, you can assume player control whilst on the ship, but I'm not sure if the lazer can reach Majima, let alone parry it lol.

Also for the others here, is Ichiban meant to have his satellite feat on his power ap wise, this thread refers to it.

I wouldnt say its inconsistent. Hell, a bloodied and battered Majima at the end of 5 was on equal grounds with a healthy Saejima, where both were going all out. And its not as though we've ever seen Majima go all out aside from then and his raiding of the Dojima family.
 
Really sorry for the late response but assuming I did it right the bullet timing scenes for Majima get kinda low lol

The latter should use B&T MP9 or MAC-10 (Full-size) velocity as the submachine guns used are a hybrid of both those guns. 9x19mm Parabellum is standard submachine gun/PDW ammo. Actually, just use the MP9.

EDIT: NVM, the full arm + sword length should do. For more accuracy, see if you can get the values from the in-game models in gameplay.

However, instead of using the full distance travelled by the bullet, calculate the exact distance the bullet was from Majima right before he started moving his body (Since the rest of the distance is just wasted time doing nothing), if possible (Since velocity drop at that range will be negligible). Otherwise I suppose you can stick with the full distance as a lowball. Might be tough to do but uh, all else fails, assume the distance between bullet and Majimbo to be arm length.

After corrections, put them up in the wiki blogs.

BTW, if you wanna make CRTs for equipment additions: on PC with MSI Afterburner and RTSS you can easily take screenshots. If you have an Xbox Series Controller you can also press the button in the middle to take screenshots to then upload.

Also I would strongly recommend uploading the imgur scans directly to the wiki. Imgur's been banned in the UK thereby affecting a lot of our British visitors.

Might not even connect to the old games. The new line might be an alternate timeline sort of stuff.

Damn this more like Kiwami 2.5 I think if LaD 9 is shit I’m just done with the series, Infinite Wealth being fun to play is the only thing keeping me somewhat invested.

BTW @Jerry59, I'd recommend adding any Google Docs we use for Heat and stuff to be imported directly to a wiki blog post or as a verse page, and adding all relevant image links to the wiki itself.

Yes, we should, we have rules against using off-site blogs due to issues with blogs getting broken and preservation issues in general.

Got the idea from Cruelty Squad and Fire Emblem's blogs should be long enough too so those without reading comprehension cannot find the wanks in it
Heat would have to be a Verse page since it concerns a power (Not sure if it'd work since you'd need to have at least 5-10 powers under it at least), but of course you'd need a CRT to pass it.

As for skill blogs, it'd be best to upload the feats to each character individually, in a bullet-point list with references wherever possible.

Skill feats generally are put onto each individual separately. As for powers and abilities, we made that rule two or three years ago to ensure that when blogs get outdated people don't have to remake the blog over and over again to add new stuff.

TBF tho, Heat being canon should be a no-brainer considering Kiwami 2 literally canonizes Extreme Heat Mode as a genuine thing.

Talked with Planck, he said it should be fine to make a page, considering pretty much everyone worth their salt uses Heat in Yakuza, down to the damn animals, and I just checked - it has at least 6 abilities (Bare minimum is 5), you just elaborate on what it is, how legit it is to the verse, and then list all the relevant scans for its abilities, users and references and make it all in formal language.

What animals have Heat btw? Only two come to mind and I don't think either of them have Heat iirc.
