The fight was weird. Hanayama seemed to treat it more like a contest of manliness than an actual fight (which is in line with his character, I suppose).
Hanayama clearly dominated him from a physical standpoint, but his no-defense/dodging fighting style is a bad matchup against Jack's biting.

I was re-reading chapter 73 of Baki Dou 2014 and Musashi fights this guy and it states that fighters can drop their speed to 0.01 seconds.
Is it possible that this could be the actual timeframe Musashi moves at when facing Yujiro and Baki? And if so, can this be used in the Yujiro vs Musashi calcs?

It also does become tricky to utilize I believe
So I believe he did all of those movements in at least 0.001 second? As that's usually what comes after in the timeframe
The results would be around Hypersonic to Hypersonic+, and Baki basically blitzed that speed

Literally what assumptions? I did this with a calc member off site and checked with them to make 100% sure it was fine.

In the last panel we can see new rain drops having dropped and appeared on screan while Yujiro is hitting the rain drops in front of him... It's all just an insanely vague feat
It seems like he heightened his senses, and the use precision to accurately hit the rain drops he wanted to hit
He didn't make the rain drops frozen via his movement speed but via his perceptions

The raindrops visibly slow down to the point of zero movement, and we see them being frozen for multiple panels. That's some of the most cut and dry snail speed you can get.
He's a superhuman that's vastly above anything a regular human can do, and his punches look ike blurs compared to the frozen raindrops. How is using the irl record not valid?
No they haven't? Not only did he move his body, thus allowing us to see raindrops behind him, but we also slightly changed our perspectives to be closer and slightly to the side of him. Plus, if they were still falling behind him at normal speed, why don't they have the motion blur that the others do before hand? It's obvious that, compared to before

Yeah, he did heighten his senses, but he also still did those actions while the raindrops were visibly still frozen. Like, this ain't really an arguable point, I'm not sure what you're on about.

Another one can be the rain still splashing on him while he has his heightened senses focusing on the rain drops in front of him, making only the ones in front appear frozen based on perception but
tho as he doesn't have rain drops splash on him at the end, using maybe the rain drops before for the raindrop distance might work idk

Yeah, sorry I snapped at you there, that's my bad. Just felt like we finally had a decent speed feat for the verse, even if it was an outlier, and got annoyed at the thought of it not being valid. Apologies.
Tbh I think that's just the rain from before on his shoulders staying in place and not moving with him as he moves, thus staying in the air.

Probably not, at best you could use I think 0.028 or so for the time frame, which is kinda buns when all they do is punch and kick. Unless I'm misremembering and they perceive everyone as frozen while they fight, or do something in a stated time, etc.wouldn't yujiro and baki fight perception blitzing the crowd not also get high results?

Yeah, I am also not sure if he is visually seeing them in slow motion or if he is focusing. But yeah, I would lean more toward senses. However, I also think it's fair to use the fastest punching speed, given that low- to mid-tier characters have consistently moved at FTE speeds throughout the series. It would definitely be a reasonable estimate to try and gauge his speed.
But yeah, not sure if he is actually seeing the drops in slow-mo.
