But they are not canon for the mangas. (Not to mention it causes inconsistency for majority of the verses)
Yes they are because we know how strong the forms are

It's not. It applies to literally every verse. Not just "one punch man"

If not, please just find ONE verse in the wiki that uses a multiplier based on how two calc compares to each other
My guy if we know how strong his human form is and we know how strong he ended up so we have a before and after why would we not know how strong he grew ?

Those are based on our value system. Not necessarily canon to OPM verse.

We can find someone mountain level and Murata can say they are multi building level. We can find 100x difference in strength while One/Murata just states the difference is 5x.

Almost none of the values here are canon. Calc based values are not usable for multipliers.

So would every verse, but it's not. It isn't a case of "lowballing OPM". These rules applies to every verse.

Dunno why i'm even talking as you won't even accept it

It is canon because those tiers weren’t just pulled from nowhere they come from canon feats that happened in the manga

We know what he started as and what he ended as that literally tells us a minimum of how much he grew

The values, calculations, all of them are based on the wiki, Not the manga.

If the manga itself says "his punch could release 300 joule but now he can release 1500", then you can use this for a multiplier. Because we would know for sure that the values are accepted as true.

But the calcs made by wiki are not accepted as definitely accurate, nor even the ranges between the tiers.

Then ask a staff and go create a staff discussion to change the rules of multipliers for EVERY verse. As this isn't a case of "lowballing OPM" but every single verse in the wiki.

You're just saying "but we know where he started" but even those are values from us rather than the manga. If you don't accept it, please create a thread to show what would be acceptable. (And if accepted, you're the god of this thread fr)

Because that’s how it is if we have accepted tiers for start to end then we know how strong he grew

It is less about OPM being lowballed and more about everyone being extremely strict with OPM due to its popularity. Every other verse would be downgraded into oblivion if we started applying the same standarts to them
Well the last time I was truly involved in a powerscaling discussion on this site was in 2016, and it was when we were trying to upgrade Boros to 5-B because of CSRC and then they insisted that CSRC should be treated as some separate "weapon" that Boros has, instead of his own ability and power. And then a whole bunch of shenanigans involved in upgrading Saitama to 5-B. There were multiple statements of Saitama saying he could destroy Earth but it was deemed hyperbole or something so they denied it. Made me realize just how hard these losers were trying to keep OPM below tier 5.

oh yeah, i some what remember Saitama staying in Moon level (or below)even when it was consistent that he was able to destroy the planet.
considering he is mostly holding back

nah he was kept at high 6-A for a really long time even though he should've been 5-B at the time. I don't think Saitama ever was 5-C? But I could be wrong

You're right. Garou grew to become strong enough to destroy a mountain and was shocked there was someone tougher than that. Get your multiplier from there and scale it to saitama

It seems they are really ramping up the marketing in regards to OPM. Talks of a fortnite collab. I guess this means they are confident in S3 performing well.

We've already seen the teaser. The animation looks like classic JC Staff slop
Still though like people said that teaser was a very small teaser, not really meant to show off the quality of the season but just to promote that it exists and is coming soon.

When season 2's trailer dropped people also called it garbage, but the season's animation quality was still a lot better than initial expectations because the trailer showed parts that mattered less and by extension had less budget. The fights are where the money pours into and they weren't that bad in season 2. Not nearly on season 1's level of course but hey, I won't take it for granted.

I'm just worried that when Psykorochi happens (this season or the next) it'll be terrible CGI slop.

I just wanna see if they put real heart into the damn season, or if it looks like some generic corporate slop that was shoveled out as a routine job rather than an IP with passionate people working on it, though I don't blame the animators for this kind of issue because it's caused by the studio treating them like slaves 90% of the time that happens.

Even Invincible gets treated better lmfao.

Interesting how people look back at season 2 now and say that it wasn't that bad. I remember when it was airing and people were treating it like DBS episode 5 lmao. It honestly still looks horrible to me

It's not horrendously bad on its own but it's horrible compared to the masterpiece that season 1 was which is probably what causes the difference in opinions.

Also, if I remember correctly, the physical release fixed several poorly drawn parts and removed the blur effect in fights.
So a good portion of the initial complaints have already been corrected.

It's a matter of standards. Season 2 really doesn't look that bad outside of specific areas that really could've used more attention, but we waited years after the icon of art and animation that was season 1, and naturally our disappointment was pretty extreme.
