100 men VS Gorilla

if you’re chronically online like moi, then you’re likely familiar with this debate. If not then, there’s discourse of wether 100 men could beat a single gorilla in a fight.

In my example it’s 100 typical men and the average gorrila.

Let’s say they’re in some random open space. All the men have heart and won’t wuss out. They dedicated to this shit.

Here’s the profiles for each parties for reference.

The look all I’m saying is this, so long as EVERY dude there is dedicated to the craft, they winning fosho. There WILL be causalities but the end goal will be the gorillas death.

40 dudes are gonna go, has to be. The gorilla is strong yes, but it’s gonna get gassed out. Mf weighs 200kg+ and is swinging around blows and you think it ain’t gonna tire out? Once that’s done we get guys to attack its weak point, namely its eyes. And now we got a partially or fully blind gorilla who’s experiencing blood loss, this where we sacrifice another 25 dudes. As the gorilla is in Adrenaline rush now, Spartan rage type shit. So we prioritise scattering, all of us gotta make like dragon balls and separate.gorilla won’t know who to chase just going off sound, we all yelling and shit, sensory overload.

Eventually after its second burst of energy, this mf gotta be down for good. We all start jumping on its skull, it’s thick, sure. But we gotta be wearing it down eventually. Or we turn it on its head (assuming it’s got temples like humans since we are primates too) and that’s a weak spot. Saying we keep crushing its temple that’s gonna have no effect. Shit maybe we keep going for the eyes and lobotomise the gorilla.

I have a hard time believing human teeth can’t at least cause lacerations and other cuts on the gorillas body.

Man, I’m confident at least 100 guys are enough. So long as one dude survives, then we win. So I’m voting For humanity

100 men win low-difficulty if it's DO or DIE.

Gorillas do not have AOE attacks that are going to one-shot everyone around them.

It's also important to note that Gorillas do not fight like boxers. They primarily attack by wrestling and biting their prey. And they can only really do that to one or two people at a time. Even if it only takes a couple seconds for each one, while that's happening, they'd be dogpiled on and jumped by multiple men simultaneously. Gorillas also aren't invincible (Like I've seen so many people pretend that they are). They're 600 pound muscle heads, but the blunt force damage will just continue to accumulate. The eyes, nose, ears, etc are also sensitive spots that could get badly damaged very fast. Especially by the way smarter humans. Not to mention the poor stamina of the Gorilla. They're up against humans, which have the most endurance of any land animal. If humans attempt to stall the fight at all and tire the gorilla out, it's just wraps...

A couple are probably going to die for the cause in the process, but overall 100 men is just way too large of a number for 1 gorilla to handle.

And it becomes even worse if this is a natural environment where humans can turn literally anything into a weapon.

Rocks, sticks, anything would just up the chance of humans winning.

This matchup being such a big thing makes me wonder if people forgot humans used to hunt Mammoths and saber-tooths in small groups. Granted, they had simple weapons.

There has also been stories of people 1v1ing grizzly bears in dire situations, or mountain lions. Though, there's no video footage of those kinds of things so it'll always be up in the air.

so like on paper 100 dudes should easily be able to overpower a gorrila, the issue is the surface area of the gorilla and the size of a human means that there would never be any point in time where a 100 dudes would ever be on the gorilla and many people are likely to be injured or stepped on by fellow humans like a black friday morning.

Wild how it requires this many humans or a somewhat close number to that to actually be able to win against a normal gorilla, whereas if you just gave them the most basic of weaponry (basic ahh spears or smth), just a couple of dudes would be enough.
