As soon as 100 people comment on this topic I will get a silverback gorilla and rent an arena for the 100 of us to fight the gorilla and put this topic into practice, I hope all of you are prepared for when the moment comes...

If they're bloodlusted or even just willing to die for the cause just like, 10, maybe 15 is enough. A gorilla is strong but it's not strong enough to overpower multiple people literally dogpiling it, 4-6 dudes jump on the gorilla and immobilize his arms, rest kicks his face in and he's very quickly dead.
If neither side is going by SBA the gorilla sees 100 people acting aggressively, freaks out and runs away
That said if i was the gorilla i'd just lock in and win i think

Chimps are stronger than humans, and are insanely ruthless. They go for the face, rip off ears, noses, and so on. They go for the groin as well.
Gorillas are much more powerful still, but the discrepancy is probably not as large as with humans.
I think if we had 30 chimps, I'd probably go for them. But with only a 2:1 advantage, I think the chimps probably lose a high-diff, high-casualty fight here.
