There's still ongoing debate, and it seems there isn't a general consensus yet. When a CRT is made one or two month-ish later, I can see folks definitely bringing up MFTL+/Infinite speed for Saitama and arguing for it (I’m more inclined to interpret that the dimension blade started from a location near Earth, not the edge of the universe).TLR
What is this threads current view of the Saitama catching Dimensional Slash thing?

My take is pretty simple.
EV's Dimensional Slash obviously works on the specific area he chooses. He's precisely targeting the land where Blast and co. are located, and so the blade starts from right there. As for the blade itself, while it is coming from a higher-dimension, that doesn't necessarily mean it holds much significant power. Ultimately even fodders like Flashy Flash and Sonic can somewhat react to it, and it's only stated to cut space in this context. When it enters the main reality that EV is targetting, it appears to still be a 3-dimensional object/energy, it's just that EV being outside of reality obviously gives him numerous huge advantages and the attack itself is virtually unstoppable by normal 3-dimensional beings and matter. The fact that Saitama can just grab it is another very impressive non-physical interaction type feat. By no means does it make him a higher-dimensional being, much less upgrade him to whatever ridiculous AP tier people will argue.

They didn’t people just make that up if flashy and sonic fodder could react to it then blast would effortlessly Dodge it due to the sheer speed difference yet blast was just as helpless as them without Saitama saving them

There's so many instances of the blade becoming higher dimensional object while in the higher dimension
1. The most obvious, it's striking down from the higher dimension (try stabbing a knife in a paper let's see if it become a 2-d object)

you asked me to show you and I did, but clearly you never acknowledged the objective feat and asked rhetorically?It's physically present and literally visible on the planet as a mass of energy and interacts with its surroundings. Cutting through space doesn't inherently make it higher-dimensional, nor coming from a higher-dimension.

I'm not talking about the higher-dimension, I'm talking about on Earth, where the attack is actually physically present. Void is projecting his attacks into reality from the higher-dimension. When they enter the plain reality, there's not really a strong indication that they are higher-dimensional in nature, and in fact they don't appear that way at all, just that they ignore space and destroy anything in their way, except for Saitama. They have seemingly no 4th-dimensional or 5th-dimensional properties.

Tbh, I always interpreted Flash as predicting "It's going to happen the same of what happened in HA!" and then start evading before the attack was landed.
Which makes way more sense than him reacting to an attack he wasn't even looking at from a character way faster than what he is

That's all fine and well but what happens in the manga is Flash looks up and sees the attack coming then warns Sonic and at least makes an attempt to dodge. It didn't perception blitz him.

They didn't, except for Blast, but he's paralyzed and unable to do anything.
They only see the trajectory of the attack just like how Flash see it earlier.

Wouldn't this also be Limited Dimensional Manipulation? Since Saitama is not only taking Void back to the universe, but also making his 4D body back to a 3D one.
If Void got pulled down normally, his body would be giant like how his swords were, wouldn't it?
Or, more directly, Saitama pulled down the giant swords and when they got back they were normal, 3D sized swords instead of giant ones
