[Losers R4M2] Venefica's Tier 7 Tourney: Accelerator vs Haruka

I see. But like I’ve said before, not all of haruka’s abilities are dark-based. On top of that, Dark matter, scientifically, is also very different from literal magic, even if both power systems can break the laws of physics. Even if accelerator could gain a resistance to haruka’s magic super fast (Although I don’t see any Reactive evolution or any of that on his profile, at least in the Post-Headshot version of him) He still doesn’t have a resistance to power nullification. So, once accelerators’ vectors are gone, his options are very limited, and he’s not winning without his vectors (7-A striking strength >>>>> 9-B Durability)
That is referring to Accelerator's analysis of Dark Matter in which he was able to analyze 25,000 different unique energies from Dark Matter at once.
Volume 15 , Chapter 5 part 3
“These are more than enough to bring you down, since I’ve already figured your filtering system. That sham of a defense cannot stop this!”

“Indeed, you can control matter that doesn’t exist in this world.”

Accelerator only wagged his index finger and made a ‘feel free to do your worst’ expression.

“The laws written in school textbooks don’t work on them, and light and electromagnetic waves that come in contact with the Dark Matter get twisted into energy that can’t possibly exist. So using energy calculation algorithms based on rules of this world will definitely have flaws.”

The killing intent between the two had risen dramatically.

This crossroad was now fully saturated with the breath of death.

“Then all I have to do is include them in my calculations. To change the laws of this world into a new world that includes your Dark Matter and create a new algorithm, then it’s checkmate.”

“Using your vector transformation… to control my Dark Matter…?”

“Don’t you think I can do it?”

“Ha, do you think you can gauge the entirety of the depths of my ability just by doing that?”

“Your depth is actually quite shallow.”

“…!?”

“Shallow to the point I don’t even need to try and gauge it!”

A sound of explosions ripped through the sky.

It only took an instant for the two to clash.

The victor in the match between the #1 and #2 had been decided.
And yes this was done before his Post Awakening Scene, which where it was gonna lead up to afterwards

How does that work? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that accelerator in this key can use those. Closest thing I see is limited law manipulation, which Haruka also has 🗿 Not all of haruka’s attacks are “Dark” in essence either. I don’t see any resistances to power nullification or extreme levels of adaptation like you say in this key either. Nullify will still turn off accelerators’ vectors.
It is worth adding that Accel is named after the Hadron Collider, whose essence is to study all the laws and theories of the world. And vector control is one way to do it. Btw, maybe this Accel might already have powernull (Accel from NT22 just strongly pronounced his powernull, thanks to which he can suppress other people's abilities, like a immortality), because every mage or Esper imposes his own laws on the physical world, coloring it a certain color (laws from the inner world or from the Phases).

No one told me that Accel could get a blanket resistance to entire power systems all at once. Why is this only being brought up now? Was he cheesed into this tourney?

^ I think this part is very important here. Accelerator needs some sort of timeframe to do this, and even if it’s small, what’s not to say that Haruka won’t use nullify by the time he starts? The guy accelerator is talking to literally asks if accelerator uses his vectors for it, and accelerators basically says “Uh huh, whatcha gonna do bout it?”

If he does the same thing to Haruka, all Haruka needs to do is turn off the vectors, and that’d be the equivalent of an epic uno reverse card moment 🗿

Well, Haruka, like Asuna, can turn off the vectors, which accelerator needs for this, so I think Haruka will beat him anyway 💀

Fair enough, but it still seems pretty smelly until it's explained. I'm not jumping the gun on it because he's been fine through pretty much the whole tourney, but yeah, optics aren't good

Acme seems to be a pretty complex verse, so I think naturally stuff like that would have flown under the radar. Still, at least he won’t be able to sweep if Haruka and Asuna can turn off the one thing he needs to fight 💀

Can Accel use Black Wings because he has powernull himself in this mode
It’s post-headshot Accelerator, so no. Even if it wasn’t, Black wings is also planet level, which isn’t the tier this tourney allows (Mountain-Large Mountain only)

Well, my last chance is to talk about the potential Accel powernull by imposing the laws of the inner world (personal reality). The same "paint " the world with laws from higher worlds, creating a world where supernatural events are possible. At the same time, magicians they can remove the laws of other religions/worlds (because a person will not pray to a Christian god next to a statue of Buddha). Espers do something similar, but instead of imposing laws from the higher worlds, they impose laws from the inner worlds.

Accelerator was analyzing it during the midst of their battle, by the time they had that conversation, he basically had control over it now.
While it's we're not exactly given a time to how long the battle lasted, it can't be any more than just a few minutes

That just makes it even worse for accelerator. It just means that he won’t get a chance to do that at all before haruka’s powernull means game over for accelerator here.

As ShadeyD has said ^ He needs time to do that. He can’t do it immediately, otherwise he’d be winning a lot more fights. By then, Haruka would have figured out what his power is and disable it with nullify, opening up accelerator for Haruka to oneshot with a skill like ultimate darkness strike (if she really wants to rub it in 💀)

Nah, the first is simply adapting to someone else's laws and the other is imposing laws. While the first takes time, the second is instantaneous

You did say Haruka's power null is only temporary correct?
How long does it last
30 seconds, long enough to go for a kill

This is exactly what I’m saying. If accelerator can’t do this before Haruka activates nullify, he’s screwed.

I was asking for it since this Accelerator is a lot more cautious and does go out of his way to avoid attacks to due to the fact that his defenses have been breached before.
And Accelerator has survived situations where his powers have been disabled for more than 30 seconds

Yeah, but what is he going to do when Haruka proceeds to hit a now 9-B accelerator with an AoE (Area of effect) Ultimate darkness strike? He can’t do much to defend himself in that state, and Haruka can always just wait and use it again later on, and there won’t be much accelerator could do about it.

Even with equal speeds, Haruka has been shown to disappear from sight, Such as when Shizu described her as faster than a beam of light during their fight, and casual Haruka and full-power base shizu are pretty comparable. So she’d still be able to take accelerator by surprise even if he has a chance of surviving.

Very off topic, but when does Shizu get a profile?

Can Haruka suppress a force based on imposing laws from the inner universe?

Magic in Bakuhatsu also breaks the laws of physics quite a bit, like Asuna’s luck magic can to a degree, and Asuna is considered weak at her current level. (Only reason she’s lived this long in a world like Terra is because of her sheer instincts, genius strategy, and also sheer force of frickin will) Plus, we haven’t even seen all of haruka’s skills. Given that she’s so experienced with her power system, even more so than our dear protagonist Asuna, I don’t find it hard to believe she could make a skill to do just that.

Although, she won’t have to, in any case. Haruka is not going to give accelerator a chance to do anything once vector manipulation is nullified. If they are in a fight with no rules, Haruka will go for the kill any day. She wanted to do that to Asuna without hesitation in their first encounter too.

Well I assume them disappearing is a result of them being FTL.
Which wouldn't happen in a speed equal situation, even if they're still comparable in speed.
Speed equalization rules must adjust to the same speed standards of the slower character.

Shizu is also FTL, since she could still keep up with Haruka. Science doesn’t always apply in fiction, y’know. If Haruka can do that with basically equal speeds canonically, what’s not to say Haruka could do the same to a powerless accelerator, especially with so many buildings around as cover?

Suppressing a force that slightly distorts the laws of physics and suppressing a force that comes from the inner world are two different things.

The power of the human soul a priori transcends the entire universe and timeline, and is capable of influencing even the higher worlds (the unconscious collective part of humanity creates phases), despite the fact that from the perspective of higher beings, the human world is like a box of toys (and also despite the fact that the higher worlds cannot be explained with the help of numbers and words). This means that the power of the human soul has an incredible strength and range, and theoretically everyone should have a High-1C.

It’s a 7-A tourney, but I’ll answer this question anyway 🗿

Magic in Bakuhatsu, funnily enough, can also mess with higher-dimensional stuff. People like Asuna already have 4-D Hax (Messing with time) And Chidori can create “Extradimensional” Barriers, which Asuna also almost broke. Haruka might not reach High 1-C levels of dimensionality like that, but a lot of the strongest characters in Bakuhatsu might be able to counter it even then.

Once again, though, Haruka won’t have to deal with that if she can literally stop accelerator from using his best power and then jump him and kill him right away after that before accelerator can do his thing 🍷🗿

In case this doesn’t make sense to someone, Asuna is not tier 2 because she can mess with higher-dimensional stuff. She hasn’t blown up large-sized things like universes with that dimensionality
