Probably yeah. Though I’m not exactly sure how accurate Blast saying Void will be difficult to handle is since that’s what the Chinese translation said. Which honestly seems to be a bit different from some of the direct Japanese to English translation I just saw which seems to only have Blast say “Everything should go fine as he was just playing around here as well.”

The Chinese translation had Blast use a Chinese idiom 车到山前必有路 which basically meant it’ll be difficult but things should work out somehow when the time comes. Followed by him saying he hasn’t been idle all these years.

So yeah there might be some translation differences. So best to wait for the fan translation and see which one makes more sense. Though I guess either way it kinda implies they are comparable to each other.

It looks like Blast Vs. Empty Void will actually be a rough battle and probably result in Saitama joining in to help him.

He's addicted- at this point they need to make Fubuki a top 5 relevant character or stop doing EVERY other chapter cover with her. Like, where are the Blast covers? Villain covers like the cadres for the MA/Heavenly Ninja Party and Empty Void now???

Anyhow
  1. Empty Void's slash is interdimensional so that's quite the dura neg right there.
    1. The "Dimension Blade" attack was seemingly casual, Blast called it a "greeting"??
    2. We need to calc this as a supporting feat- I know Empty Void scales higher but it's a good showing
  2. Blast was able to teleport the entire HA pretty casually wow.
    1. Suppose that makes sense after he teleported the SP^2
  3. Flashy got humbled by the Dimension Blade, if he scales to Empty Void's swordsmanship later on I'll bet it will be casual.

This one's kinda crazy- but multi-dimensional phasing for Empty Void? Like he's partially in our dimension and partially not so you literally can't hit him with regular attacks? Something like that.

I don't know if they'll go far enough to give Empty Void some kind of Infinity-esque defence but it would make sense. I do wonder though... did Empty Void actually show up to the Hero Association to do his attack or can he just attack from another dimension/space through warping?? Who knows at this point
 
Blast gets stronger confirmed. So maybe he was in a level where EC could hurt him? Still think thats not the case, but its possible.

Well Elder Centipede fought him 2 years ago and he wounded Empty Void 15 years ago, so if Elder Centipede was able to damage him 2 years ago he would have certainly beaten Blast or God-empowered Empty Void 15 years ago... assuming he harmed him in the first place.

I still insist the blood on Blast's face is all God's doing. Elder Centipede is a brick with relatively low attack potency- in any case if Blast was losing a battle of attrition to him in a 1v1, it doesn't make any sense that he would nearly kill EC in a 2v1 after God got involved.

Multi-Solar scaling or no I don't see how you can nearly kill a monster like EC whose two selling points are durability and regen after taking significant damage from EC's relatively poor offence. If EC was the one to do the damage it implies Blast is an ultra-glass cannon which I'm sure will be confirmed not to be the case.

Yes.

Theoretically given the size and nature of Dimension Blade, Empty Void could maybe delete Boros in one swing with dura neg. And I would bet on Empty Void being faster. If it's not a one-shot situation, Boros could potentially outlast unless Empty Void has other relevant hax (and he probably does)

Still don’t understand how Pre-God Empty Void was on par with Blast and yet after getting buffed by God he still got defeated by Blast and went into a coma for 15 years while Blast who was weaker was completely fine.

Like Blast must have some kind of durability negation or secret move that puts a heavy burden on his own body right? Cause there’s no way he was able to beat Post-God Empty Void normally if even before that they were equal.

Ehh if the gap between them wasn’t big I’d say something like IQ as well. But this is an amp from God. Garou went from Above Dragon to God from one boost. Ain’t no way Empty Void was still anywhere close to Blast who he was equal to before the amp.

He already had god power during their battle
 
Blast said even before the amp they were equals. So after the amp Void should’ve become so powerful that Blast from 15 years ago was no where close to him at all. And yet the end result was Void who was by logic far stronger than Blast was knocked into a coma for 15 years while Blast came out of the battle without any lasting injuries.
 
yeah, i re-read the sentence. He doesnt say they were equals before the God power up, he says they were equals, and because he was given powers by god, he had an advantage.

Then again, i still dont know how blast managed to beat him without sustaining damage.

Dude is something else. Maybe he is faaaar more haxed than we think.
 
He is confident in his current abilities is all that matters now. Whatever training he has been doing must be something.
