Adam (Hazbin Hotel) VS Battles Page

The two bruises on Lute's face are clearly cuts. I guarantee you that if the rubble were capable of causing damage at that level to Lute, her face wouldn't just have two cuts; at the very least, her whole face would be bleeding.

The mask would've had a visible cut in it and maybe even would've had some blood on it.
You don't need to break a mask to break the skin undeneath it, can confirm, have faceplanted with a mask on before.

sigh we really should just get someone into this who knows invulnerability crap lol
Invulnerability is one of those powers that's incredibly case-by-case.

It can appear like total immovability, or just negate damage while retaining force.

I'd liken Angel's to the invul of Cursed Spirits in JJK– they can be beaten up, tossed around, blown away, but never take actual damage unless an attack was imbued with Cursed Energy (or in this case, Angelic Power).

Plus, the rubble didn't only damage Lute's face, her legs were also bleeding

Normally that's losing skin, etc. Not a perfect cut.

We really need a staff in here to decide this because I don't really agree lll

So guys

What if we just make the Invulnerability likely/possibly? Would everyone be okay with that

Would Angels have Immo 2 since Lute survived with no arm
Yes, even Sinners can survive fatal wounds without dying, and in episode 3 Velvette said that one of her models needed to "put herself together" after Val had torn her apart in a rage.

Rewatched episode 7, Alastor specifically refers to Angels as "indestructable".

I just think that the unkillable-ness of Angels compared to Demons being that they just have the same immortalities as sinners makes little sense narratively.

Ogg file for Adam's quote

I think we can have Angels as like no-sell above Sinners, maybe even Overlords*
Then they'd be regarded as invincible without getting an ability that would let em no-sell 3-A and higher attacks

So they're a no-sell above Overlords, but can't even scratch Alastor's shield, and can have their sword-swing caught by Angel Dust?

Alastor is leagues above your typical Overlord and I'm pretty sure Angel Dust blocking the sword-swing is more due to the gun's durability, kinda like Connie's blocks

There isn't really anything putting Alastor significantly above the current Overlords I believe? He was strangely nervous around Zestial and Carmilla was unimpressed by his return.

But more importantly Alastor also needed to use Angelic Weapons on the Exorcists, and he himself calls them indestructable.

It can't be a stat-diff if the Exorcists can't scratch Alastor's barrier, while Alastor himself considers them indestructable.

Alastor has magic and was stated to be in the same ballpark as Stolas, so lad is definitely above your average Warlord.
I think Charlie calls them that and Alastor says that they might not be so, but even still, Stone Walls exist lol

Its obvious Vivi has no idea how her own ******* statements work lmao
Was that stuff stated by WOG? Otherwise, it could just be unreliable narrator moments from the weapons dealer. Imo, the statements could be interpreted as durability vs invulnerability.

alastor and Charlie say the same thing
