Why are people saying this is a fair fight?

Hakai is basically useless as **** because of Bill's soul being NEP on Mind, Soul and Energy.

Mafuba is also easily countered from Bill's Size Manipulation/Duplication, as if the guy either becomes bigger than what the Mafuba has showcased to seal or makes up clones, then it won't really work. I know of the >>x4.5 speed gap, but those things are thought-based, while Mafuba still needs a long action to be fully made.

Aka this is a stomp.

I have no problem with you saying Bill wins or Bill stomp but this part is headcanon. There is no reason to believe there is an upper limit to the size it can take.

Just said if Goku and Vegeta manage to pull it off then they win.
 
Keep in mind they have precog of Bills full abilities and have prep time. Bills regeneration also takes some time. So maufuba is plausible if Bill doesn't just grow Galaxy sized off the bat
 
NGL this match leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Feels like every advantage was given to the Saiyans so they could win.

That's kinda a false equivalence to be honest. Mafuba is ofc subject to NLF given the range stuff. Mafuba never showcased to seal something that's too far from it, plus the Saiyans would surely interrupt the process if Bill starts to grow at certain sizes, as the Earth would be destroyed from his volume alone (plus him enlarging would also null the process regardless as the jar would be altered from his body growing).

I think only Bills Physical form is being used. The only factor the soul would play in this match is regeneration im assuming.

You do recognize that this wasn't even the discussion we were having? I never disagreed with any of this, I said that assuming the Mafuba doesn't work on big targets doesn't make much sense.
This now brings me to a new question, why would he grow during the Mafuba in the first place? Characters can't even act while being being hit by it. Unless you are arguing he'd start growing before that happens which leads me back to the "why would he know to do that" question.

Bill's NEP applies only to the soul, yes, but Bill's low godly comes exactly from that NEP soul. Plus Bill can clone himself if he notices that there are issues with physically dealing with the opponents, or destroy the planet (and he has many ways to do that). And yes, it's something he'd do IC.

It worked only on characters who do not have thought-based hax. Iirc it was used only against King Piccolo, Zamasu and Frost, and none of them had thought-based hax like Bill.

Because of him noticing that he's gonna be trapped in a small-ass jar, so he'd try to do things to counter it, as he indeed has the means to.

Tho I forgot that other than size manip he still has teleportation, which is also thought-based, dummy me who forgot about it.
