Im talking about thebgods scene, not goku
Oh
Well regardless, the metal really isn’t even low 2-C as proven during the tournament, so it wouldn’t make any sense that they wouldn’t destroy it
so it’s just an inconsistency, solved by them not using their DC in that fight

Neither i nor the crt claimed that the metal is low 2C

And if the metal is below low 2-C, that creates a contradiction omg is that an ace attorney reference?!?!? that the gods, had they really been using their destructive capacity, would have destroyed the arena. But they didn’t, therfore there’s no evidence that they can’t shake the world of void, at least not with this train of logic.
I mean I’d give up entirely to blatant statements of gods being unable to shake it, but this isn’t evidence to me tbh.

So they selectively chose to not damage the arena they were fighting on top of but did manage to shake the void?
Same way Beerus and champa fight on earth didn't destroy earth but they were threatening to destroy the 2 universes. Same thing for Goku Vs Beerus. Same thing when jiren flexed ki it didn't destroy the arena but shoot WOV, same thing for Goku. Tbh this point is irrelevant

Even if they shook the WOV it doesn't change anything. If the gods of destruction shook it, it doesn't stop WOV from being 2-C and it doesn't stop Goku and jiren from scaling off from it

It’s still wacky that we’re saying that literal empty space has a durability to begin with

2 gods of destruction fighting will destroy 2 universes.
3 god of destructions fighting in WOV and not destroying it makes WOV 2-C, even if the gods of destruction shook it, WOV is still 2-C as long as they didn't destroy it. And if Goku and jiren individually shook it they will still individually scale to the 3 gods fighting that shook it. Either way they still scale to 2-C

I'm against this. If Vegeta, Goku, Gas and Granolah can control their power so they don't accidentally destroy the Universe in a serious fight then the Gods of Destruction can stop themselves shaking the void.
That's Manga continuity, this is anime continuity where we have seen two GoD slapping one another threaten to destroy two universes and even by yelling they can destroy the universe

In the anime it's been consistently shown that gods of destructions just throwing hands casually can destroy two universes. It's a rule for them to not engage in combat lest their universes would be destroyed. Yet 3 gods fought in WOV and caused less significant effect to WOV that jiren and Goku individually did. And WOV wasn't significantly affected by their fight unlike U6&U7. So WOV>>>U6&7

this thread shows that we need a destructive capacity page more than ever now
No. We'll never accept destructive capacity on this site simply because that is not how our standards work, or how the Tiering System works. They work solely on the joule value you can output. So I'd suggest you drop it right here and now.

hate to burst your bubble but the AP page already has a small section noting the difference between AP and DC lol

Hate to burst your bubble back, but that difference pretty much explains in one liner why we don't use DC in any measurable metric LMAO, we even had countless threads on this topic and we added more stuff regarding "low area of effect =/= low AP" as a result, in fact, we almost made an "Area of Effect" fallacy to add to the page until it was determined that editing it into the AP page was adequate.

Pretty sure the difference between dc and ap is only taken into account when talking about harming other characters, not destroying structures

Could be wrong, idk

uh yes
I'm not quite sure we are disagreeing right now, I can't tell

Why bother commenting if you’re not gonna read anything or add any arguments? Respectfully, leave.
Excuse me? That's a bit uncalled for. I did read the arguments that were posted back to me.

If this is only affecting anime continuity, then fine, though I still think it's a stretch. The God of Destruction did fight each other, but it's not confirmed they fought each other with Universe-destroying energy as far as I'm aware.

I've deleted comments from the most recent page of the thread that were just spam.

Also wow, people are forgetting Zen'o's temperament regarding the fight being cool and whatnot now, y'all forget about that?
