STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Guessing the next chapter will be an epilogue of sort, focusing on the aftermath of the Monster Arc. Things I'm predicting

  • Metal Knight will probably play a big role in this chapter. He's probably healing the heroes and probably scavenging Z city
  • A bunch of HA drama
  • Likely a dialogue heavy chapter. I don't think this chapter will focus on feats.
  • We'll probably see what the S Class are up to after this
  • Likely some set up for future arcs involving GOD
  • Psykos might reappear and get captured by the HA.
  • Saitama and Genos just chillin.

Watchdog man is still an unresolved plot point since he never showed up to the battle 👁 also we’ll definitely get some zombieman action since he’s the one who knows about the god stuff when blast isn’t on earth

I don't think Watchdog man will appear, or at least do anything notable. He probably just doesn't give a **** since it has nothing to do with Q City

this doesn't make sense, when did the portals serve for this? the two portals used in the scene were used to transfer them to space and the other to try to transfer energy. in not a moment of clues that it was the portals.

The fact that it was redirected to begin with should have made it obvious that he was using portals my guy, unless you’re trying to give blast a new ability
 
Now if people accepted that garou and Saitama scale to the explosion’s speed, then it could be a different story entirely actually, then the mftl+ scaling for blast makes sense perhaps if you squint your eyes

who is giving a new skill is not me, but the manga, the portals are used to transfer something, at the moment of impact they should already be in space, the portal wouldn't be able to get the energy there if it didn't collapse like the second portal.And no, it's not obvious that he used portals.

also, saitama, blast and garou should scale to the distance traveled by the serious punch²
if not, we should nerf boros aswell, since he is scaled to the speed of his kick. (actually the speed traveled by saitama kicked by him)

Basically that explosion was mftl+ and Blast was able to react to it before that explosion could reach blast and break his gates.

the problem is: the speed of the explosion is MUCH, MUCH HIGHER than the current value that garou and saitama are scaled at the moment.
so, if they want to give us this answer, their speed MUST get upgraded.
 
billions time faster than the lightspeed, not just 1000x faster....
the explosion LITERALLY make a hole in the galaxy in less than 0,0013
their speed is LOWBALLED to hell

There’s a decent bit of surplus circumstantial evidence. Like how a prominent and known leaker teased an OPM gif earlier this week. The chapter was delayed until noon on Japan’s time which is odd since it was finished last week but makes sense given that having an announcement at noon is optimally better than midnight, plus Murata says “expect some big news.”

So there’s a decent bit of hope to it.
