From what I saw, the hole in the night sky isn't commented on in that panel. They just say Saitama and Garou were thrown clear by a reaction of the energies.
 
It's parallel to the page before it showing the spine on the moon's dark side that was lit up by the SSSP clash.
It is literally the other side, even the disposition of the continents of the Earth are different. To be the Moon the planet Earth should be in the foreground this time, which makes no sense by the size of the moon

Seems like the clash of two Serious Punches is exponentially greater than just one. The clash is literally called "Serious Punch Squared"
So the result of one Serious Punch would be √(calced value/~5)

Or I guess since they could endure the power of a Serious Punch Squared, they could scale to the full value

I guess that's true but you would be able to see the moon near the black void sphere. Unless the attacks were teleported without Garou and Saitama, that doesn't make any sense.

But... physics please? Does that man a Serious Punch's power is related to the strength of the opponent, as if it had 1 constant value, it would be "Serious Punch x 2".
