WELCOME WARRIORS, BLOODTHIRSTERS AND SLAUGHTERERS, WELCOME! Today you are gathered before Khorne to sacrifice your worthless blood for his pleasure! And you will be doing so in glorious battle. If your pathetic hides somehow survive this however, then you will be granted a boon by Khorne for the next grand tournament.
  • Two champions per participant only, 16 warriors will compete
  • Khorne recommends 200 tons to 1 kiloton for your characters, you may disregard this at your own peril
  • Speed will be equalized
  • Only melee fighters allowed! No cowardly range abusers. A character's existence will be tolerated if they refuse to resort to such cowardly tricks
  • Any other abilities will be subject to Khorne's discretion
  • No smurf hax, Khorne ******* hates blue
  • Each battle will take place in the realm of Khorne, and as such every character will be immediately enraged and bloodthirsty
  • Both fighters will immediately start at 5 meters range
  • 1st and 2nd place will advance to the Grand Chaos Tournament

Is the range rule very strict? Like, even if a character has several meters of range at most with an attack that they don't spam?

Range is a tricky question, given the arbitrary nature of Khorne's honor standards. Range is fine so as long as it isn't something they'll resort to if they're losing. Just bring it forward and I'll scrutinize it.
 
I don't think they'd resort to it if they were losing since it's a precise instrument and hardly gives him any range. Typically he'll hide and go for sneak attacks (H2H combat) if they're scared or losing. I want to nominate Doctor Starline with the Tricore. You can ignore the stellar range as that's only with the Warp Topaz which he doesn't have when he's got the Tricore.

GIGA Queen pretty much focuses mostly on melee attacks and occasionally missiles/flamethrowers

Also, shouldn’t you add an AP limit to avoid AP stomps?
 
I'll see once I get more participants, but fine, I'll make the AP range 200 tons to 1 kiloton
 
This guy.

While he does have ranged attacks, Gunha prefers CQC. The seemingly problematic stuff he has is limited and only applies to himself to enable his powers.

Edit: Never mind, I think he is only a baseline 8-A. Ignore this.
 
By the way, are you sure you want to accept Raiden? He might blitz everyone with a move that makes him 10x faster, which is pretty in-character for him to use it.
 
My heart tells me to let Raiden stay because dura neg isn't necessarily wrong for Khorne, but it also tells me that it's gonna be badly obvious who's gonna win if I let him stay 😔 All the list members are still subject to scrutiny by the way so what's written isn't final
 
But yeah the only reason I even considered submitting Raiden was because Kharn and Valkia, the former of which is an uber-high ranking champ and the ladder his literal consort Aka Wife, both have Uber dura neg weapons lmao
 
Honestly skilled characters for the roster wouldn't be bad, Khorne loves him some martial skills. But Grimgor level is probably too much to ask lol.
 
Removed Starline and Black Pudding after discussion, they're not very Khornate. That's not to say I'll never accept them, just not for this particular tournament so keep watch for the next ones!
