8-A Tournament of Blood and Skulls, Preliminary Match 5: Optimus Prime vs Lau Wong

Overview
In terms of AP/Durability, Lau should take this since Optimus scales to The Driller who is 305 tons of tnt, meanwhile, Lau scales to 324.129303271 tons of tnt and was completely unharmed. Both can amp, Optimus has Flight Tech and Forcefields while Lau has Tekkuken and Gaisenken. However in terms of Lifting Strength, Optimus stomps since he's Class M while Lau is just Superhuman.
In terms of skill/intellect, both are over thousands of years old with proficient combat skill against characters like themselves but due to the size difference, hand to hand isn't going to be to stylish but I don't see one having a big advantage over the other.
In terms of Range, Optimus has Lau beat with his cannons. Nothing in Lau's arsenal can reach that far to damage Optimus.
In terms of abilities, neither has anything notable that would give them a massive age. Lau does have versitality with his spells but all require close range and his absorption/attack reflection is ineffective because Optimus isn't using magic.

While Lau has the advantage in AP and Durability, it isn't enough for him to dominate and Optimus has amps as well. That's about all Lau really has going for him along with mobility due to size.
Optimus has the range advantage which Lau has no real counter for, plus the giant difference in lifting strength means if Optimus grabs him, it's GG. Plus, Lau's versitality is all close range so it puts him within Optimus range.
So I see Optimus taking this via Range, Lifting Strength, and not being far off in the other statistics.

The forcefields, stat amps, and flight tech are null points. Those are specifically in his DotM equipment.
In terms of skill, Optimus pretty much stomped Megatron, someone of equal strength who fought evenly with him in the first movie, Starscream who should be somewhat comparable, and Grindor, who honestly was just fodder to die so yeah
Though Optimus should still be able to out range him with his cannons and his fighting style mostly relies on grabbing his opponent and straight up shanking them. So given the higher LS, once they enter a melee fight, I’d see Optimus just grabbing him
