ONE: Ok I'm gonna need to go quiet for a bit to help the studio with Mob Psycho. I'll leave you in charge of the next chapter, just follow the baseline story and work off of it.

Murata: Yes, Sensei, I can handle this.

Next week, ONE reads the chapter

ONE: I have just vomitted into the toilet. You will never write for One Punch Man again.
The thing is, I do think that if, somehow, Murata is responsible for writing these few chapters, he is capable of okay writing, He's not perfect, but he's not terrible either. The issue I seem to see is that OPM is normally great, while the last few chapters were okay.

Having God influence Garou, especially in such a strong manner, is certainly a questionable decision, but it could go well if done right, I still have my doubts though.

Regardless, I think almost literally everyone can agree that this is far better than pre-redraw. Keeping at least some of Garou's dignity and consistency here is better than making him an absolute clown, even if it's rushing God a bit. Still, I'm kinda hyped to see this Garou's feats. Unless God's amp here really isn't that massive, I'm hoping for something ground breaking. Saitama is going to get serious in one of the coming chapters, that's something I'm certain of.

Also, this is confirmation that the previous Garou was Awakened. It said "Awakened Garou, Cosmic Fear Mode", meaning he was already awakened, but this is a different state (or "mode") of Awakened Garou. I think the name Cosmic Fear Mode sounds kinda silly, but it probably sounds better in Japanese, in all fairness.

Pretty sure this Garou dogs on Boros, btw.
Cosmic fear sounds like something that could be an Yu-gi-oh archetype

Y'all got ur hopes up quite high feat wise...im thinking hax cuz i dont see anything else happening with the off chance of god/garou destroying something light years away somehow.

On an unrelated note, I'm kinda upset that the Limiter concept's just been ignored, even though the manga specifically added more content to the story to make the limiter concept more prominent. Even in the webcomic, Garou made a reference to the effects of removing his limiter, feeling like his spirit had been lifted. Here, with all the God stuff, no attention has been placed on the Limiter. Maybe that'll change with the next chapters, but with how things have been going so far, I don't have a lot of confidence.

The moment you realize "God" in OPM is their version of Rita Repulsa from Power Rangers lol

Monster starts losing? He powers them up and makes them bigger.

I mean…god literally placed the limits, god gives power to Garou, limiter has been removed(for the time being). Or are you looking for there to physically be something said about the limiters?

Fair point about God placing the limiters, but yea, I kinda want something physically said about the limiters. And the way this chapter was framed, God didn't really remove Garou's limiter, he just gave him more power. It should've been like, "There is only one fist that can stand against the fist turned against God. It is the fist that has no limit" or something along those lines.

atrocious behavior. MP only got like 2 developed characters. One is mob, and the other…is well…the other mob.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, because if it is not, Mob Psycho is an absolutely fantastic show with tremendous development for almost all of the characters.

I read alittle bit of the manga and skimmed through the end, didn’t really like. Don’t wanna drop spoilers but it seemed so rushed with all the mashed into the end. possibly was rushed.
