Dropping DBZ Movie scaling for Toei Goku.

If it helps, here is what SSJRyu1 told me in private:

"I would agree it makes sense to split the movies from the main DBZ anime since they are said to occur in other dimensions, and of course the stories have many differences. As for scaling the movies I would personally just treat it like the games, so the anime scales to the movies but the movies don't scale back to the anime. The only things I could see the movies scaling to is games that have the movie events in them, such as Cooler and Broly in Heroes and Xenoverse for example."

Toei Goku's 3-C+ rating would probably get nuked since it comes from Fusion Reborn which in return could affect GT

Edit: Although his profile also notes that he did extensive damage to the Sacred World of the Kais which is Multi Galaxy sized so that could keep him at 3-C

I'm not sure how to either, but SSJRyu's compromise makes sense. What that basically means is that Kid Buu has his own Galaxy level feat that could scale to some of the movie villains if they fought an end of Buu saga Goku. And Frieza's 4-A feat via destroying Namek may or may not be considered an outlier; and his back up 4-B low end sounds like hiding an outlier tbh. But Broly's 4-A feat and the 3-C+ Janemba feat may need to be removed in that case and it's handling the GT characters is what seems like the hard part.

Why would GT get effected? It was already agreed that movie scaling will still implaied to it. It is only DBZ anime only character (which I guess we have only three profiles that will get effected)

Broly doesn't have any 4-A feats. That "galaxy" he destroyed was a universal quadrant and not a single galaxy. You guys are misrepresenting and misinterpreting that feat.

Thst alone puts broly at 3-B. Broly is a saiyan, which means he has a life span, which is pretty short(only around a 100 years or so). During movie 8, broly was already around 30 years old and he already destroyed close to 25% of the living universe. Destroying 75% of the living universe in several decades is easily multi galaxy level

Wasn't it mentioned in the movie that broly destroed most of the south "galaxy"? King kai was afraid that broly would also destroy the north "galaxy" too. And broly has like multiple universe destroying statements. Keep in mind that broly has a short lifespan. He is not immortal or has longetivity

And that makes broly 3-B. There is no evidence that toei living universe is any smaller than our own observable universe

How would that be 3-C? Isn't kaioshin realm 10% the size of the universe? So wouldn't that give him a 3-B rating since he did extensive damage to it?

In this clip, piccolo said that broly will end the universe.
A 4-A level character can't end the universe in a few decades. Since broly was already 30 when the movie happened, he at best only had a few decades of life span left in him.
I will also try to find his on screen galaxy busting feat in japanese.

Calling that headcanon is rather wrong it was an interpretation of statements from the guide books, that well I always felt was flawed, was still based on the canon material, it has long sense been changed.

From a Plot Standpoint Piccolo is the character who usually explains and corrects everyone, like how he had to explain to Goku his mistake with Gohan or in the Buu Arc with the Supreme Kai or how Goku thinks he’d be a better trainer for Goten and Trunks to do the fusion dance, I think it be odd if the writers intended his word be doubted suddenly specially when Dragon Ball just loves hyping there villains

To be fair “Give me your energy” endings never really do make sense from a mathematical standpoint, Like with how Super Android 13 basically no sold everyone I don’t think the combined power of the Dragon Team would be enough to literally disintegrate him with Goku’d aura
