The sequel to season 2

Last time on The VS Wiki First Holy Grail War

10 Servants were summoned to New York City by masters. These servants were Berserker, Lancer, Saber, Rider, Caster, Archer, Assassin and the irregular classes Avenger, Saver, and Ruler

In the early hours of the war, Berserker went mad and wa put down by Ruler. After a few hours, the rest of the servants had all arrived, two alliances were formed, the faction of red (Archer, Saber. and Caster) and the faction of Black (Saber, Assassin and Rider). Avenger did not form an alliance, while Lancer had managed to make friends with Ruler, but it wasn't an official alliance.

Assassin was killed in an unfortunate accident [FabGlasses you will be missed] and so the Faction of Black was brought down in strength. Saver and Rider revealled their phantasms to each other

Ruler had used power to continuously rewrite his own existence, stacking Noble Phantasms together to create a world he could protect himself in. However, Saver had the same ability, and Rider (incorrectly) decided that Ruler was after the Grail as well. Together, they allied and Rider revealed he planned to take down Ruler. Saver completed re-writing his own plot and grew vastly in strength and divinity. However, in doing so he partially revealed magic and the war's existence to the world. Due to this and the threat that the alliance had to him, Ruler deemed Saver as a threat to the Grail War and set a bounty on his head. Unfortunately, Saver had grown to strong thanks to his re-writing of himself, and would have easily killed the servants coming to fight him. Ruler realised this, and appeared before him, and provoked Saver into attacking him, as he was unable to act directly on the war except in self-defence. With this restriction now lifted, Ruler dragged Saver into his composite reality marble, Patchwork Soul where in a cataclysmic battle he managed to kill Saver, but not without losing 10 of his 12 lives, and his magical reactor core. Ruler managed to craft a new core, but depleted his mana reserves in the process and now waits near-helplessly in a bookstore in Washington Heights, waiting for his mana to recharge (in about 8 minutes) enough to get back to safety in Patchwork Soul.

Meanwhile, Rider prepared to battle Archer, Caster and Saber, but was TPed away at the last moment by his master, who he proceeded to undergo a mana transfer session.

[Ok, round has properly started now. 8 minutes until I get enough mana to return to PS]

[Ok thank god. Was worried that Saber/Caster/Archer were going to sense me and come kill me for some reason while I was vulnerable]

My magic has recovered. I sigh out of relief. Thank the Grail. I go behind a small bookshelf out of sight of cameras or witnesses and activate PC, vanishing from the shop.

I reappear in front of the throne in the Golden Colosseum and walk around behind it. I look at Prelati's spell book. The magical reactor within pulses, granting me infinite mana as long as I am within the Reality Marble. I was in a hurry last time and implemented it somewhat sloppily, but this time I do it properly, conceptually implanting the book within the structure. I sit down on the throne heavily.

I could have died. Easily. If any servant had sensed my presence, had come to kill me when I was without mana, I couldn't have fought back. And I'm weaker than every other servant in this war. It wouldn't have been hard.

I think. I'm a false servant. I know this. I was aware of it from the moment the grail summoned me and gave me form. I have no legend. No great stories, no history to gain power from. Everything I have is copied from the legends of others. And if I die, that is it. There is no me inscribed into the Throne of Heroes. Who I am right now is the true, and only me. And if I die, I am gone forever.

I can't allow this.

I want to live.

I need more power.

I go to the workshop behind the throne that the building reforms to create with a though and I begin using my item construction, crafting a slightly magical sword, durable shield, and a globe of the world. I leave them in the workshop, deactivate Ars Paulina, and TTBB down to steal a computer from a nearby shop. I return to Ars Paulina, and use my item construction to merge the globe with the shield and the central processing unit with the sword.

Next, I pull out my manuscript and begin to write.

Chapter 1:

"With exquisite craftsman ship, he crafted together the Sword and Computer, merging them together. He poured his magic into them, strengthening them, increasing their ability"

I write another 8 chapters.

Chapter 9:

"The Sword/Computer had ascended to its highest form. Acclimated to mana, it could now process and replicate the effects of even other forms of magic. It was a truly beautiful creation that Monarch had created, a work on par with the legendary sorcerer and alchemist Paracelsus's own."

With the sword in hand, I conceptually implant it in the throne. With this weapon's effects, the magic of any item I implant in the throne will be analysed and replicated by this weapon, even if use of such magic was normally impossible due to incompatible mana sources or similar. If Prelati's spellbook is considered the heart of my Reality Marble, this Noble Phantasm is the brain.

That is enough for now. I deactivate PC (but not TTBB) and return to Washington Heights to watch Saber, Caster and Archer

[Currently I'm just watching the Faction of Red (you and your allies) from beyond space-time in Washington]

[If anything looks threatening to me , I'll fly 750m straight up and activate PS and just watch everyone with SNI, but other than that I'm not doing anything]

Saver is nowhere to be seen, so it should be safe to assume that he's the dead one due to my CTTR like Caster just said. But, it's different. It occured exactly the same time, nothing before or after anything. With my CTTR, when we got here, there were 6 Servant's presences in my CTTR. 3 of us, Saver and 2 of his companions (right now, i thought Avenger was Saver's). But, just in the same time that i said "Song", a new Servant's presence appeared and also disappeared, together with Saver's presence. But, i can only sense 1 death, only 1.

Where Saver and his man (Avenger) used to be was 2 Concept of Space. That means Saver and that man (Avenger) several meters away from us just went outside of space-time. But, what about the 7th presence that appeared and disappeared together with Saver's? He (or she) must have the ability to go outside space-time, just like Saver. But, who...?

While i am thinking about that, a strange light spreads out of the other guy (Rider)'s body. That light... there's no mistake, it's ASJFY. So Saver is still ALIVE!?!?!? Then... who's the dead one? Aside from us... No... Ruler... HE COULDN'T HAVE DIED IN THE HAND OF SAVER, RIGHT!?!? New weapons are starting to take form in Rider's hand. My CTTR stopped just for a little moment after Saver's disappearance, now is screaming furiously.

- Come to me heroes. I am Rider. You are about to experience what a true warrior is.

Without even giving us a chance to answer, he charge to me while pointing his spear to my head. I used my katana to block his spear. He's very fast even for me, i barely block that attack. Any moment later and i'm gone. He's REALLY trying to kill me? Archer right next to me shoot out his lightning, but Rider easily dodge it like his little game. He points his finger to Archer and say:

- You truly are a formidable Caster to be able to use such powerful lightning, it reminds me of lightning from the gods themselves.

- I'm an Archer. - Archer reply.

- How does shooting lightning qualify. You know what lets just forget it... you truly are a formidable Archer to be able to use lightning like the gods themselves.

He's underesmating me... That's it, i'm gonna kill him! I dash to him with all of my killing intent. He jumps away to dodge, but i won't just let him go like that. I follow him up to the sky so that i can finish him once and for all. But, he uses his sword to parry mine so easily and uses the power from parrying to spin his body and thrusts his spear at my head. I kick his spear out to push me away and dodge his fatal attack at the same time. He lands but also put a large distance between us. Because we fought in CQC, Archer and Caster couldn't do anything since that might end up with me stucked in their attacks, too. That man... I thought Rider class was made up of Riders, but that man could handle both sword and spear easily. He could easily fight on par with me in a CQC, too, but i don't think he lied about his class.

- You are all truly worthy of being called true heroes. So let me ask you this Archer, Caster and Saber would you be interested in calling this battle a draw?- He asks in a serious tone.

He underesmated me, and now he want to leave just like that? When i'm about to charge in, Caster holds me back. He must've figured out my intention, and he didn't want me to do that for some reason.

- WAIT! WAIT!! WAIT!!! DON'T IGNORE ME!!! YOU FLASHY LOOKING GUY!! - the other Servant call out.

Ah, i get it. Rider isn't alone. There's another servant here which is Rider's companion. If i rush in carelessly, i may end up in a 2 on 1 fight. But, out of our expected, Rider answers him:

- Who are you? - Rider looks confused. He really didn't know that guy?

- AVENGER!!! I'M AN AVENGER!!! YOU SHOULD BE A RIDER RIGHT? - He angrily shouts.

Wait, Avenger? I thought Avenger was a team of superheroes... wait, wrong. Damn the holy grail, this modern knowledge is too useless, why should i even have it in the first place? They don't seem to know each other, so Avenger isn't his companion? Guess this is a 3 on 1 now, we can win this.

- I see that you all have no intention of letting this end in a draw... Very well this shall be your undoing.

It looks like he can read my mind somehow. He is channeling his mana, is he about to release his NP? Is he crazy? Is he trying to let others find out about HGW?

- Almighty Gods, witness my work! With my Infinite Splendour, the Sun shall..

He's chanting his NP! I have to stop him before it's foo late! But, when i'm about to unleash my SoG, a teleportation spell appears and takes Rider away. He... ran? I don't know why but we're safe, for now. Avenger turns to us and say with a loud voice:

- My first time, ladies and gentlements! Muhahahaha! To think Ruler himself would do something like that! Amazing show! I'm so turning on right now! Guhahaha!

The word "Ruler" triggered me. I says:

- What do you mean? What have Ruler done?

- Oh, you don't know? Shame! Shame! Shame! Poor little girl, that show was magnificent!

His maniac tone made me angry. I points my sword to him and say with a deadly tone:

- Speak! Or your death is granted!

- Are you sure, lady? We are in the middle of the street now.

- He's right, Saber! Let's fall back! - Caster tries to convince me. But, i won't let him go without an answer no matter what.

- Your answer? Search for it yourself, lady! I'll take my leave, my friends! Today was fun! I'll come to your place later!

He disappears instantly, left behind only a Line of Concept of Space. He escaped outside space-time right now. Damn it. I was so weak... so weak...

We go to where our car parked. But, i tell them to go home first with that car. They are geniuses, even without Riding skill, they can learn how to drive a car just by looking at me. I... have something to do now. I beat a punk to take his motorcycle (again). With that, i ride straight to the ESB and get to its top. There are no presence of any Servant nearby, or any Concept of Space here, too. My note was gone, but someone may took it out of curiousity. I wait here, for Ruler's arrival. But, no matter how much i waited, he didn't come. I waited until evening, yet his presence is nowhere to be found. He is... really died? He sacrificed himself to save us from Saver...? That... can't be... In the end, i can't really beat any strong opponent. Maybe Shirou was right, i can't win without other's help...

I left a new note for Ruler: "If you're alive, just give me a sign" before leaving the ESB to Caster's place - our Headquarter.

[Took me 1 hour to imagine things under my POV and write, so tired...]

The others left, so I return to Ars Paulina, allowing its flow of time to fit in with the regular world, so that time passes in it. There I tinker and toy, SNI telling me to create an item with my EX construction skill. A ring that will double my agility. I put it on, and feel my agility rise [C+]. To test myself, I summon a couple water demons with Prelati's spellbook function and fight them. I can feel the effects. I'm quicker, faster, lighter on my feet. I decide to return to the ESB.

I see a note. It's from Saber apparently. Give him a sign eh? Should I or should I not? The last time I interfered with this war when I probably shouldn't have I almost caused its collapse.

Hmm.

I can still craft one more item today [technically i could make more with TTBB infinite time and infinite mana workshop, but Blah can only make 5 so I'll follow the limit for the sake of balance]. I return to my workshop in Patchwork Soul (time stop) and craft a small doll looking exactly like Saber except with bright blue buttons for eyes. A simple enchantment upon it, just enough to say "I'm still here" in a legitamately creepy singsong voice. Then I TTBB down to Caster's place, where I see saber waiting, frozen in time. SNI tells me the area is warded, but as long as I am still moving at immeasurable speeds, no ward could possibly detect my entrance or exit. Afterall it happened from beyond time. Laughing quietly, I place the doll on a table behind Saber and TTBB back to the ESB. The doll will activate once she sees it.

[Because Hizack always acts like a madman with his Mad Enhancement, i used Edmond Dantes as his figure since Edmond always maniacally laughs a lot, too. @Hizack: You DON'T mind, right?]

[Edit: @Monarch: HOW CAN I SAY THAT WASN'T SAVER OR AVENGER YOU IDIOT? And no, Caster's workshop is our headquarter but we all are staying here right now]

-" Sitting around and doing nothing is boring.

-" It can't be helped if you fight 4 or even 5 servants in your current condition you are going to die you know. My master points out while looking annoyed.

-" This is truly unfortunate that Saver was most likely killed by Ruler.... sigh I was really looking forward to use the grail to reincarnate along with Saver. After my rebirth I would lead humanity into a new golden age of the gods with you master as my queen and Saver as my Vizier(Second in command) but seeing as he is no more I guess a new Vizier candidate is in need. Until then I shall humour myself by playing your video games.

I proclaim as I sit down in order to play Overwatch.

And then for reasons [Namely I want to troll people and I need my item creation for that], I return to outside time in PS, and craft one more dolls with a similar function to before, which look exactly like Rider's master. Then I TTBB over to their place, knowing where it is thanks to SNI, and I place the dolls behind them. I noticed Rider is playing Pharoah. Understandable. Just as Rider is about to get a complete opposing team kill and get play of the game, I press the off button. Laughing maniacally from beyond space-time, I head back to the ESB and into PS

With the process of the story, that will more likely Saver than you... You can just meet me somewhere and tell me "Saver was dead" or something, you know? Oh wait, i just realize that i totally forget about Lancer again in my story... the part where i come to a conclusion that Ruler was here by thinking "Ruler was the last one except us in this war". I met him only once in the story when he was a weakling. I met you once, too, when you were a broken mass-murderer. Make sense?]

[We all know that Avenger is still alive. So, a doll with a creepy tone (imagine Saw's tone) saying "i'm still here" will strike right to my fear (that Ruler was already killed by you) and you're trying to say "I'm still alive, come and get me you Servants" than Ruler saying "I'm still alive, don't worry".]
