You hate me right? And why are you making a 8-A fight a Low 7-C? Lux has no durability negation abilities.
 
Ok, then, Lux wins. While Kakei will help him a lot, the damage dealt by End Action is more than Akuto can heal, and he has no way around Reload on Fire amping Lux's speed 10x. Akuto's main adventage would be his ranged attacks... But he is a hand-to-hand fighter on this key, which combined with Chaos Brand's size, mean it's Lux who has the range adventage. Akuto also has over 2x Lux's AP, but Lux can use Reload on Fire to amp himself 10x. Combined with Lux's experience and skill, my vote goes to him.
 
I take it nothing Lux uses would be equalized to making use of mana.

What prevents Akuto from doing the lethal equivalent of this right past Lux's armor?


Also, him going for hand-to-hand combat doesn't mean he wouldn't use range if the situation calls for it. Though with his teleportation it should rarely be an issue.
 
Given most of Lux's abilities are based off techology, I don't think so.

Blitzing? Lux's first move is first move is Reload on Fire and then End Action. Also, Akuto only used his telekinesis twice, none of which were on this key.

Given End Action deals damage even Low-High regen has a hard time healing, and Over Limit Lux goes for the win as soon as possible due to his time limit, it'll be hard for Akuto to survive long enough to notice he has to go ranged.
 
That Akuto didn't use telekinesis more can be credited to the fact that it is nearly useless against any stronger magician of his verse. And Akuto readily adapts to what the fight demands.


Sooo...if I read Lux profile correctly Reload on Fire slows him 5 seconds before it boosts him 5 seconds. What stops Akuto from just outspeeding Lux during the first 5 seconds as much as he does it to him in the latter 5 seconds?

The same thing that stops everyone in verse from outspeeding him even when they know how Reload on Fire works: Instinctive Foresight, Quick Draw and Quick Shot. All of these help Lux to move at roughly his regular speed even while slowed down.
