azure periastron alpha's description states that periastrons are made out of stars

this means a player would have to dematerialize a star to create a periastron, and that most likely means the periastron in question is star level

EDIT: ivory periastron also makes a supernova, which could also be star level

Apologies for the first comment, as I accidentally submitted it before I finished typing it down.

Well, let's have a look at the description of the item:

"Only when two stars are at their closest point, can the material for this sword be collected, so they are extremely rare, and depending on which stars are orbiting one another they are different colors. One thing is sure, they spell doom for anyone who comes near. First in a series!"

First part of the description is denoting that the material for the periastrons can only be collected (via an unknown method) when two stars are at their "closest point". There probably isn't enough information for this otherwise.

On the other hand, the supernova created by the Ivory Periastro (as shown in this video) is by no means the size of an actual supernova.

Probably going to reply later. But, for now, I'll probably go to bed.

Waited too long, but I'm gonna talk about the CH player's tiering in general here:

Considering the changes in KE standards (and general inaction towards the player's statistics in spite of that), I've actually had the idea of downgrading the player to about 9-A to 8-C or so based on a few consistent feats (Being able to move their arms fast enough to ignite plungers on fire and throw them as an attack [ran a few calcs with the results being around 9-A via the same methods as this calc here, only difference being that I plug the velocity alongside the mass into a KE formula], being capable of wielding a hor in combat that is stated to be capable of summoning an Earthquake within a 30 stud [10.62 m] radius that can dislodge unanchored bricks and cause people to fall down onto the ground [or outright damaging them constantly at a close-range distance] from within the 10.62 meter radius, recalcing this feat but using the ingame speed of the launched bluesteel guy in M/S grants 9-A results that are lower than the other two feats.

I have yet to transfer the plunger calc thing to a blog. Aside from that, I'm definitely going to have to revise a few weapon descriptions on the player's profile to accommodate the changes to weapons such as the Periastrons, Telamonster and anything else that was changed in terms of mechanics. They aren't exactly downgraded, but they have much more abilities that would have a pretty notable impact on matchups (such Chartreuse Periastron's forcefield that can reflect homing danmaku (in addition to the barrage blinding of projectiles that it was reflecting, as summoned by ivory periastro).

The player's MHS speed should probably be okay. If not, I could probably calc the speed the player throws the dual plungers at (refer to the above) + the existence of Amethyst Periastron being able to summon what are basically called meteors from the sky and meteors from the meteor staff (which has a very similar gimmick to summoning meteors from the sky).

TL;dr: Player gets downgraded to a lower tier once I get a few calcs going, more abilities are added due to gear changes and speed can probably be discussed.
