Why is Saitama planet level?

The reasoning in the wiki profile why I see Saitama being planet level is very vague and biased.

Saitama stated that he could destroy the planet in the webcomic.

One-Punch Man is a parody manga, so such statement is not supposed to be taken seriously. I mean Medaka Box is also a parody manga too right? So why isn't Medaka Kurokami not universe level since she was stated to create a universe? I sense biased here.

Murata also stated that Saitama can blow up Earth if he wanted to.

Just like of how Alien X creator stated in Twitter that Alien X could destroy the multiverse, yet he is not multiverse level? I sensed biased here as well. Fun fact is, Murata is not even Saitama's author. If you wanna play this route, why don't we have Vegito upgraded to Low 2-C since Toyotaro said so that Vegito is Beerus's equal in one of his interview?

No feats that puts One-Punch Man characters anywhere or even near planet level. Using statements only to put a character to planet level, while ignoring the same cases for both Medaka and AX which my friend is a double standard.

This Saitama topic has been discussed again and again and again and again. Saitama's AP is not moving. You can check the dozens upon dozens of threads that already exist about this exact topic, if you want to know why upgrades for him aren't accepted.

I honestly want him to be as powerful as possible, It's just this wiki relies on feats, calculations, and proof.

1 in-verse statement + 1 WoG statement + 1 secondary canon feat + 2 guidebook statements > 1 in-verse statement/1 WoG statement years after the fact.

Also 6-A to 5-B is an infinitely smaller upgrade than 5-C to 3-A or Low 2-C to 2-A
 
Not that it makes the OP any less wrong but he's not arguing for Saitama to be upgraded. If anything, he's saying to downgrade him because him being able to bust the Earth is "just statements."
 
There have been multiple discussions about this topic as you can see in the links provided by Agnaa and they have been rejected, so I will close this.
