Saitama vs Vincent.
Saitama walks into a store during Special Sale Day. There's news of a new pandemic affecting another city, but he didn't pay it much mind. He's bought as much as he can afford, and is now standing at the cash register, ready to pay.
Just then, Vincent walks to the same cash register, and places down a bag containing...something. Upon being taken out, it looks like a bunch of ordinary groceries...and a strange blue orb, one the size of a fist, that appears to be made of some sort of glass or crystal.
As Saitama is wondering what the orb is and how much it costed, as he didn't remember seeing it anywhere in the store, Vincent asks him what he knows of purgatory. Sensing a monologue, Saitama immediately looks annoyed. And he only gets more irritated when he hears Vincent describe the world as one of struggle and pain, with the implication that he considers this a bad thing.
Just as he's about to respond, however, the orb explodes, sending smoke throughout the store...along with something else.
