Anywho, I also finished Chapter 5 of ZZZ after carefully grinding my stuff, and dailies on top of gacha rolling.

Miyabi is eluding me as hard as Ellen, Burnice, Zhu Yuan, Jane Doe, and Lighter LOL. I deadass thought I got Miyabi on my second 10x rolls only for it to reveal a Grace copy lol. At this point, I'd take a Koleda since she's only the S-rank on standard roll that I've yet to capture xD.

That said,

The story itself was really fun and awesome. I was a little concerned that it'd be long but it wasn't that bad. It's as long as Chp 4 is, which given the fact ZZZ devs decided to leave puzzle stuff out of the main story since CHp 4 probably made it not as drawn out as it normally would. I also like how it does callbacks to the various plotlines that happened, from the Vision Corp scandal, the Sacrifice, Bringer, Null Face, and so on.

What I especially like is even though it was advertised, just about everyone played a role that culminates in everyone coming together to take down Bringer. Naturally ofc, there still remains many questions but that's just only the beginning of everything including this so-called "Creator" that Bringer and Sarah follow...

Feat wise, it's cool how we got even more feats like Miyabi being a confirmed bullet-speed fighter and then her empowered Tailless slash she did. I would also say that Bringer Ethereal is perhaps the strongest boss we got to date, and Miyabi truly lives up to the Void Hunter hype. Although granted she's probably not quite yet at the level of hype the early ones made, but she'll get there as time goes on.

And then there's the Phaeton Siblings, who just so happen to really not be so normal after all xD

Though this begs the question on WHAT and WHO exactly they are. They're clearly Human, but sort of being they are is now the hot topic given they literally face tanked an explosion from a dying Bringer. That, and there's the fact that we literally have them make mention about ocular implants, which explains why their eyes always go blue.

Overall, I really liked the story and even the teaser stuff we get in interacting with Astra and briefly Evelyn, which also makes a tease mention of TOPS which is another top dog organization by the sounds of it as well as Miyabi's still living father who'll likely play a bigger role in the story.

I didn't count Nineveh for the reason I didn't consider them for the main story since they aren't really that relevant in the grand scheme of things (at least as of 1.4's main story).

Even if I did, we don't know how Miyabi rn fares against Nineveh since that was a pre 1.4 Miyabi that did the charged slash against them before she went through her anime-esque powerup that she used against Bringer, and that Bringer was also channeling the power of the Hoshimi Clan's cursed sword power.

Basically, Miyabi as of rn SHOULD be different from the one we first saw of her in the game proper.

If nothing else, you can say Ninevah and Ethereal Bringer are comparable, with maybe the latter w/Hoshimi Clan curse power being higher? We still haven't yet seen all of what Nineveh is at aside from being something Section 6 and the rest of HAND have been dealing with here and there in H.Zero.

I don’t think present Miyabi would be noticeably different from how she was previously normally, though I can see your point that her final slash against Bringer was probably further enhanced by her emotions in this specific fight due to how personal it was for her.

I’ll concede Bringer is possibly comparable or stronger in terms of power, though I currently believe Nineveh is harder to kill than him.
 
alright, i've got feats for chapter 5 compiled up. this chapter had a lot to unpack, so i might've missed a few things, but i tried to get as many notable and important feats for characters as i could.


a lot of really good feats, especially for miyabi. i think that last feat from her might be the best in the series to date. that one's definitely worth calcing imo. hopefully i didn't miss anything, but if i did, someone else should be able to provide the stuff i didn't include
 
Anton also happened to knock a container around too, which is fair given he was able to wrestle Grace's machine during Chapter 2, so it's reasonable to believe that he's comparable to them in strength.

Unless I somehow misinterpreted her cursed sword's power up wrong in any way, I'm sure it does matter.

Especially since Nineveh tanked a slash from a Miyabi from like 1.5 or post Chp 1-pre Chp 2 point so Miyabi still had yet to channel that power she used against Bringer.

That said, we don't know how Miyabi is now against Nineveh until the game comes back to her and Section 6 going up against it and if Miyabi can freely channel that power up.

Unless it’s confirmed that she became stronger in general from before or during the Bringer fight somewhere, IMO at the moment we should view the power up slash as just an attack empowered by her emotions based on the memories of her mom being shown as she’s doing the attack.

I wonder if we’ll beat Nineveh soon given we have Geppetto trying to manifest.

Alright, took the time out of my day to look up the proportions of the ship and calc the cut this might be the craziest feat by Miyabi as she breaks into Large Building level even when a lot of it is fairly conservative

large building ZZZ, nice. i'm hoping we get some speed calcs at some point soon. if i had to guess the verse is probably in the supersonic-hypersonic range but miyabi in particular has some pretty crazy speed feats so i'm really looking forward to seeing those get calced
 
I'll need to review the rocket launchers being used by the guys. They're obviously fictional but we can use visual references to see what matches them the most

And Miyabi feat when calced conservatively is Large Building but breaks into City Block, which to be fair, it pretty much is the way her slash cut through the Hollow
 
I should note that including in-game fights and feats, if Bringer's lightning phase can be considered cloud to ground lightning, that can be grounds for Massively Hypersonic+ but we'd need to prove it. The rest of modern weaponry maybe makes us peak at about Hypersonic. I'd definitely like to take a closer look at some footage in-game as characters are able to dodge tank/cannon fire.

that sounds about right for the verse.

in terms of proof of the lightning being cloud to ground, although the game cuts the lightning off i think the implication is that it's coming from the sky. the lightning is also colored red, which i think is worth noting cause when bringer powered up against all the factions you could see red lightning crackling within the clouds of the hollow. not sure if that alone is enough proof to constitute it as cloud to ground lightning but i do think it's at least worth noting
 
Was out of internet for a day. But in that time, I managed to get Miyabi after like 5-6 ten times rolls lol.

Although I tried to get her W Engine next, I had no luck except just fully upgrading Soukaku's W Engine so it's okay? At least my Soukaku is more or less fully loaded as is Nicole in terms of W-Engines and Discs. Just skills I need to fully upgrade and they're gold for another while.

got lucky enough to get both miyabi and her W-engine. she's an absolute beast, shreds through bosses with practically no difficulty lol. now i can save up polychromes for astra and evelyn once 1.5 drops

Anywho, I'm doing the same too while building up Miyabi and all my other Agents I've invested in so I can handle even the level 60+ nodes.
 
Finished Harumasa’s story, he’s currently my favorite character of Section 6.

Feat wise, I think it’s impressive that he beat mini boss Ethereal (Thracian) by himself while in a really bad state, entering the fight in bad condition and was rapidly deteriorating during the battle.

harumasa's agent story was amazing man. easily my favorite agent story to date, and i'd honestly argue that it's one of my favorite stories from the game as a whole even including the main chapter stories. one thing i really appreciate about ZZZ is how it can switch from goofy, light-hearted scenes to darker, more serious ones at a moment's notice. the writing in the story was amazing, really wish i saw more people talking about it. seems like it got overshadowed by miyabi and the 1.4 main story but i guess that's to be expected

that feat might actually have some merit to it, considering that there's a trust event with miyabi where she says fighting against harumasa would be "trouble." she specifically points out the fact that he doesn't go all out that often iirc, which is obviously both due to the fact that he's lazy and the fact that he's sick. so a serious, healthy harumasa being able to give miyabi a troubling fight is definitely impressive in it's own right
 
I also did Harumasa's Agent story and it's one of the best ones yet with showing what Harumasa is like as a character and also shows how, despite his laziness (and condition), he still is a SEC 6 member.

The final agent story chapter also shows Haruma's tenacity or endurance given he was already getting weaker even before they went into the Hollow with the Proxy and not only did he took on numerous Ethereals including a mini-boss one, but also had a second wind come in to snipe a dude while "blind" and still have the energy left to take his master's specifically-made injection.

If dude's not a beast to warrant his "leave of absences", this should be it lol.
 
Not to spoil the latest event but Wise managed to clock Miyabi in at over 200 km/h when she went over to meet him so that's a good baseline to work with. I also frame checked her special dodge and it clocks in at Subsonic (only based on map indicators though), her casual movement speed does clock in at Subsonic

That sounds about right with her having to catch up to the Proxy MC during Chapter 5. assuming she ran on foot instead of using a vehicle.
 
Alright, does anyone have any sources for Bringer's giant katana? I'm using it for another calc I'm making and I'd like accurate resources to see its material or even just its volume
 
I thought that was a joke lol, but I can get started on a sandbox rn, we just need my calcs looked at and we can get started

Wonder what they'll do once they get to 2.0, assuming they do anything at all. I'm not very knowledgable on how Hoyoverse treats their milestone version updates...
 
ZZZ isn't like Genshin or HSR in the traditional sense so I'm wondering if we're just going to keep getting expansions to New Eridu or if we'll get new map regions altogether
 
wish i could actually calc stuff so i could help out in that regard. at the very least i could probably help with profiles if it's needed
 
Nah I can cover the calcs is more just someone who needs to look at them and have them approved
 
I’ve currently been doing a sandbox on the major story bosses from DEB to Sacrifice B, mainly focusing on their abilities, summary and images until we have a decided rating for their stats.

Not sure.

But they have to do something since there's always something major when a gacha reaches a new patch era age.

As I said, the game has only been out for half a year now since July last year, and it's still on 1.4 (which came out last month of last year) with some news I keep seeing very recently about 1.5 dropping later this month (if not, early next month is what I really think would happen).

There's also the question of how many patches of 1.X will go until they move on to 2.X patches but if they're anything like past Hoyo games, that can go from either 1.6 or 1.7 until 2.0 and on drops into the game.

1.5 is gonna release later in the month, we should be getting a live stream for the update soon and the update itself should drop after the miyabi/harumasa banners end which is in like 18 days iirc

as for what they'll do for 2.0, i think there's two options. either they'll tease a new void hunter and the update/story will revolve around them similar to miyabi (makes sense since all the void hunters will probably be the big hype characters of ZZZ and they'll all most likely be important lorewise), or i think they could also finally give us the rest of obol squad. the new bangboo puzzle event had some art of soldier 11 and anby fighting together, and while obviously i don't think this alone is foreshadowing to them getting more attention, i definitely think the mystery between anby and soldier 11's relationship is a big enough plot point to where it could warrant a big milestone update. plus, people suspect that we might get S-rank versions of the cunning hares at some point, so if they wanted to give anby an S rank variant, an obol squad update would be a good time to do that
