Arale is purely mechanical, with no hearts and stuff, shown to be built, has inorganic physiology, and both androids are built by different people, in different settings. It's on you to prove she has a soul .

If it’s a different setting, why is anyone bringing up DB? Also being built by different people doesn’t mean anything when 8 is apparently purely mechanical as well.

If they are canon to each other, and one has a purely mechanical being having a soul, the path of least assumptions is that purely mechanical beings have souls in the verse.

i stopped using 18 and 17 as examples.
Actually dr gero, a destroyed robot appeared in hell in Z, watching goku and co. fight buu.
And they don't state it automatically gives soul immunity, they just say NORMALLY it is the case, implying it is acknowledged that it is not automatically the case. Saying otherwise is a massive appeal to probability.
Same author, and they exist within the same verse. Only reason why.

Also people bringing up that Arale has Type 2 Inorganic and therefore she resist Reiatsu Crush should re-read the Inorganic Physiology page.
