Would you consider this a source of light?

Seems like one to me. And with the description of the Laser/Light Beam page. Light can be from something as simple as a camera.
I believe this is another form of light emitted by this alien creature. It can also shoot what appears to be laser out of it and also use it to transform beings. I have seen physical objects (such a a pan, block and reflect the light off as well.)

If anyone needs me to bring information I have it ready.

Given the fact that it shoots out in little green energy bolts rather than a straight up beam of light, I don't think it counts.

Nah. That isn't a geniune light source. There's no ray of light, just bursts of green energy.

But one of the most basic things about light is the fact that it's a straight beam that travels in a straight line, not a roundish projectile.

Not really, since it's acting more like an energy wave than a beam of light. In addition, light doesn't drain the color out of things in the way that the aliens are here.

Alright, thanks for your input. I'm not sure if I should keep their speed rating on Subsonic tho, this just looks faster to me.
