Whips of Flame! (Sanura Williams vs Claire Rouge)

You're here. :)

The sleep spell doesn't require prep, but, for whatever reason, she doesn't employ it in fights. She only used it to put Rashad and Dahad to sleep so she could leave the mansion.

Sanura's first tactic would be to summon Assefa Berber in a bolt of lightning so she can more efficiently use her magic, and have it be more powerful. Then, she goes for fire manip + forcefields, combining wind, binding spells, and lightning strikes as she sees fit.

Apologies for not linking their pages in the OP.

So she has elemental versatility, binding spells and forcefields

Claire's difficulty is that she can't have both her whip and Scarlet. Since she'll be fighting 2 enemies, if she uses her whip to bind one of them, the other is free to attack, so she'll likely have Scarlet in cat form.

How trained is Sanura in combat?

Sanura isn't super well trained. She mostly trained in how to use spells in the first place, as well as in CQC, but not to the extent of Assefa. Claire should have the edge there. Though Sanura is incredibly intelligent, and has the aid of both her fire spirit, and Assefa's tactical mind to aid her. She's no slouch by any means, just not as experienced. Assefa's fought hundreds of supernatural creatures. Sanura's fought like two to three dozen.
