So, i was browsing through the VS battles wiki and i seen that Eddie Brock is only 8-C. 8-C, really? Yeah, he's probably 8-C in his normal Symbiote form, but oh boy, he's WAY more powerful in his other form. In the comic "Venom: The Madness" Venom falls into a pool with a mercurial virus. While the virus bonds with him, Eddie grows extra hands and heads. But it's not important, more important thing is that he is able to beat up Juggernaut in that form. Yes, you heared me right, Juggernaut. My question is why nobody bringed this feat before? Because this is might be Venom's best feat.

By beat up, do you mean punch around to no effect or actually damage. Because those are two different things.

Well after reading the story:

  • Fight 1: Venom is incapable of damaging the Juggernaut and only lived because his suit kept regenerating through the damage, and even then it was stretched to its limit
  • Fight 2: An amped Eddie does no damage to the Juggernaut then is BFR'ed to another dimension
  • Fight 3: Eddie does no damage to the Juggernaut, who only leaves by this point because Venom is crazy af and doesn't get paid enough to deal with this
So I don't see him scaling. Staggering the Juggernaut doesn't warrent a 4-B key.

Qawsedf seems to make sense. Thank you for helping out.

Well going deeper, there is another version in Venom Annual #1 (2018) that also covers the fight. However there's also issues

  • Venom is still incapable of damaging Juggernaut. With the person saying that Juggernaut was barely warmed up after Venom pounded on him for multiple pages
  • The story is being told in a druken get together
  • The person telling the story is not a reliable narrator and right after he's finished with it another person mentioned hearing that version of the story before along with multiple others.
So it's a bad retelling of the original that has multiple issues in terms of continuity in regards to said original. Like the time of day being wrong and how the fight playing out being wrong.

Idk, when he got the mercurial virus it looked like he's doing some damage to Jug, maybe i'm just stupid

But the thing is that he wasn't really damaged, just staggered. Venom didn't even damage his helmet like other super strong characters have. Even the drunken bar story told by Venom outright said that none of his attacks actually harmed Juggernaut.

I agree with Qawsedf, and even if Venom did damage Juggernaut, it would have been an outlier.

Then i guess we can just close this thread
