What kind of immortality is this?

If only a certain weapon or an object can kill a character, what kind of immortality is this? Exemple, Barbatos from DC Comics can only be slain with the Tenth Metal of the New Gods.

type 9 and type 10. That's basically it. Only weapons as powerful or more as that character can harm him/her/it.

It's not type 9 because their true selves exist on that plane. It's not type 10 since they're not 1-A and can be harmed by non 1-A weapons. It's just nigh-invulnerability.

Most likely that the Weapon bypasses their type of Immortality?

That or the Immortality is Type 8, and is reliant on them NOT getting hit by that weapon.

Because it's just invulnerability with a weakness, it fits perfectly fine in our abilities.

The new type 4 has already been decided as immortality through reincarnation/resurrection.

And reincarnation is any different? At least make it so that it's not a complete copy of an already existing immortality.

I don't agree with it because it's not any different, but it's about as fitting a replacement, and it's already been decided on.

Doesn't mean we can't try and change it to something else. Especially considering that type of immortality is an actual thing.

Sure, but I think they're about equally deserving.

In fact, the current candidate seems less NLF-prone than giving immortality based on invulnerability, so it's probably better than your suggestion.
