What would happen, if Thor (any version, who cares?), dropped the hammer on Hulk, like when he did to Loki (another version, but anyway)?
The Hulk isn't Loki. But anyway. If somehow, Thor managed to get the Hulk to lie down and stay still long enough for him to place Mjolnir in the center of his chest and when the Hulk tried to move, finding himself quantum-locked and presumably held in place, what would happen?
Many Thor fanboys love to use this argument. However, I will debunk it here. Hulk, can indeed get out.
Not because he's worthy. Rather because of the ground.
Savage, 2003 or MCU Hulk would rant, calling Thor a puny god and would slam his fists against the ground. The shockwaves from his blows dislodged the hammer from his chest. How? By causing an earthquake which would cause the hammer to move in relationship to the Earth, like as Iron Man said, an elevator can lift the hammer. Hulk isn't touching it, he is causing the Earth to move, which CAN dislodge the hammer. Then Hulk smashes puny god!!!
However, if this is a more intelligent version of Hulk, like Mr Fixit or World War Hulk, what happens? Realizing he couldn't move the hammer, Hulk would feign unconsciousness until Thor came to remove Mjolnir. The events would happen so quickly, even Thor would be surprised. I'm surprised Loki didn't do this trick, he's the god of mischief.
Also if they fought, Hulk'll just regenerate, he can regenerate 70% of his body mass, and smash Thor for being an idiot.
Also Loki was pinned between the rainbow bridge and Mjolnir and couldn't wiggle out from under it. Theoretically if you could squirm fast enough to the side you could wiggle out from under the hammer.
tl;dr: Hulk would rant, scream and berate Thor for thinking such puny means could defeat him, and knock out Thor who would be surprised (if he was so dumb and put the hammer on Hulk), and call him puny god (probably a full rant if it's an intelligent version of Hulk) and leave him there unavailable for comment.
