I really don't know why people think Shirou was ever meant to be put up against Sora, because even though we for some reason went on to have that debate, my original submission specifically referred to not putting him above the aforementioned two character's that were in misc at first

682 wouldn't already have the techniques before meeting Able, only when fighting Able and it becoming more skilled by copying, mimicking, and adapting his combat versatility would the feat be less questionable.

...682's anatomy is considerably different from a regular human/humanoid for skill copying to be particularly effective for these purposes, as much I had to point out when Sora fought Arceus that knowning all martial arts is irrelevant when they weren't meant for a llama.

Definitely a fair point- If you try to teach a Horse how to punch, it simply won't really work out too well, even if the horse if capable of fully comprehending the concept and actions needed, for example.

Sora totally has the AoE to just swiftly slice 682 to pieces, but we all know he'll just lol regen and adapt.
But yeah, 682 is more of a case of just withstanding everything and eventually gaining some positioning to do something to the opponent.

I mean if we're counting Adaptation 682 can just follow his usual tactics of facetank shit until he can use either brute force or a hax given to him to end the fight lol, he's tactical and knows his abilities work like that

In a match of pure skill, wouldn't it be more fair to equalize stats? So just tanking attacks won't be a really effective plan in that case

Equalizing stats is of little relevancy when 682 can drastically raise its stats, it can even grow to cosmical sizes with if its powers are sufficiently triggered.
As said before, usually hax abilities and regen/immortalities are restricted as well for the sake of focusing on skill debate, which handicaps 682 way more than Sora here as 682's whole strategy is surviving everything then just eventually overpowering the opponent.

Bro, 682 is the literal top of the 9-A smurf list off the back of his regen, immortality, and Adaptation. I don't think equalizing stats is gonna do much except make 682 just not get stronger in stats.
It's stats raised when it's hit hard enough,
For instance, if Sora hit him with a High 6-C attack, 682 would enter it's 5-A level, and so on and so forth all the way up to 1-A+, while equalizing stats makes Sora not make 682 gain a stat advantage, it doesn't do much else.

Basically this, 682 is tactical and intelligent, but when all of his fighting revolves around his abilities- which are smurf, there's an issue

Basically there was an entire argument to claim that Able (aka, 076) is skilled by being able to fight 682 for a good while, and so @Kirinator07 wanted Sora to fight 682 in a vs thread to see how long he'd last or similar.

Yeah, no, Kratos absolutely has better Skill Feats and I'm not even a Hardcore fan
Especially seeing how he can wield Unorthodox weapons (Even just looking at the most recent game- His Axe granted isn't that crazy, but the Spear is a bit weird and the Chain's are exceptionally unique)

I'll just outright say it, I likely wouldn't try to defend Shirou from Kratos with how skilled Kratos has shown himself. Though, no offense to Kratos, but I'm not sure if he could gun for Sora effectively

Kratos has next to no aerial alternatives, but I'm sure he has dealt with airbone opponents and can compensate on that with ranged options, it does still mean that there's not much he can do if Sora manages to pull him upwards and combos from there...

Oh no, Sora doesn't grab him per-say, but rather just throws him up then just attacks while still pushing upwards per hit, and so Kratos would have difficulty even aiming as there's not much stuff to grab on for the sake of controllable momentum, I guess one could argue Kratos could just grab Sora, but IDK if he has the feats for this kind of situation.
