As they say, Shout the loudest and you will be heard first. The one think that I want more info on is Wazdakka Gutsmek, bring me back my god damn ork-doomrider GW.

@Az i am sorry for not being on the chat if you where there. i am still busy and i thought i could go in that exact moment.

There were rumors that 8th Edition of 40k confirmed that the Warp(s) in Fantasy and 40k are the exact same realm of horrific orgy monsters. If this is true which is iffy in it's own right it could lead to some upgrades for those fools in goblin hammer land. Feel free to shoot me down if this is in fact, false.

Started Black Legion. Only on page 40 or so, since I was just reading a bit before bed, but it's pretty great, so far. Solid feats already, too. High level psykers can make a ton of people kill themselves or stop their biological functions without even being present.

Khayon does this to a Death Guard base from a kilometer away.

Behold, the most Heretical writing in all of 40K:

The craftworld, like all the other rare specimens of its type that still endured in the barren galaxy, was old. It was old even by Eldar standards. In human terms, the contemplation of its age would have induced madness. Still, the seer forced herself to think in such terms, as she was dealing with humans now. She had to think as they did, the better to control them. She had to think in unnaturally quick spasms of emotional logic that quite distressed her. How the mammals of Terra, with their brief, furious lifespans, barbaric technologies and shallow intellects had ever come to be a force of influence in the Cosmos was quite beyond her. They bred like vermin, brawled like children, and spread like insects. They had no depth to them; even the best of them had perilously little understanding of the true purpose of sentience.
She had studied them carefully, appalled at their heathen ways and lack of cultural maturity, shocked by the ephemeral quality of their lives. She had seen their high art and music, and regarded both with disdain for their lack of profundity. She had watched them make wars, and laughed at the hollowness of their glories, and the frailty of their courage.
In the old, old days, before Kaelor had become a neglected, decaying ghost of its former self, the aspect warriors would have derided her for consorting with the mammals of Terra. But the warriors were all but gone now, the elegant colonnades of the craftworld emptied of their glory.
:Those few that remained understood, as she did, that humans were the only pawns left for them to use.
She wondered what the humans would make of her. A goddess, no doubt. In their eyes, she was a woman, far above average height for a human female, slender, and majestic. It was a ironic joke of the Cosmos that Eldar and human were so physically alike. Her perfection would have triggered wars of lust and driven human males to despair.
She liked that idea. The mammals of Terra, weeping at her impossible beauty.
She wept too. She wept blood. She wept for her mouldering craftworld and the shades of all those of her race that had perished. She wept because she had seen what was coming.
Her name was Ela' Ashbel, Farseer. She considered what a human mouth would make of her name.

This is the only appropriate response to it I can post.

@Aku

bless u, my son

Also not even 100 pages into Black Legio and a shit-tier bound daemon has the feat of returning Khayon from nonexistence, bringing back his lost soul.

There also seem to be hints that Drach'nyen called out to Abaddon through the Eye, wanting him to obtain it so that it could finally kill the Emperor, as it failed to do during the Heresy. However, it has not been flat out confirmed, yet.

If it is actually Drach'nyen, its mental powers are insane. Abaddon is able to completely ignore the temptations of the Chaos Gods through sheer force of will, but this mysterious voice has left him drained, soured, and not himself after a while.

Probably because what it represents isn't something so general as to be widely "worshipped", but something so primal and inevitable it's still just as impossible to get rid of as the Chaos Gods. Emotion that can overtake any human. Not wanton massacre such as that represented by Khorne, but something born of spite and jealousy; focused, purposeful murder.

The Emperor will become the 5th Chaos God. The Star Child will become the Star Father and Emps will turn into a YHVH-expy.

i found the best Youtube comment ever:

"it is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the psychic manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-assholes. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse.'To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of Specialist Games and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and understanding the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. there is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies´╗┐"

@Az i am reading Black legion again and guess what, i was reading a forum where ADB himself was, and one of the guys there made a stupid theory everyone dismissed....and ADB freaking referenced that in the book without telling anyone! i swear to the gods man...it is just too identical to the guy's theory for it to NOT be true!

Laughing cheeta

@Azzy

Apparently according to one of the new Horus Heresy Short Stories, the Sirens of Ancient Greek Mythology were actually Slaaneshi Daemonettes, or something very similar.

Is that even possible? For a Chaos God to manifest in the Materium before being born in the Materium.

the Warp's conception of time is more along the lines of guidelines, not rules, so a time paradox of small proportions COULD happen
