The Audio Drama Eye of Night retcons Abaddon doing this from just him showing off how evil he is into him planning ahead of the Imperium by hundreds of years.

He destroyed it because there was a hidden Inquisitor Fortresses in it where an Inquisitor was compiling a research on powerful Chaos Artefacts he sought. So he blew it up so the Imperium would lose the knowledge.

Anything that shows that Abaddon is cunning and badass is a plus to me.

You can enter through a Facebook account, it's easy.

Also,

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Moriana

^ This woman created her own planet with her thoughts in the Eye of Terror, so any powerful / important Daemon there should be At least 5-B.
want to know a spoiler @Matt? about Moriana? not very OOoooOOoh but it is interesting nonetheless, it is from BL.

Inquisitor Greyfax killed a Daemon Prince in the Eye of Terror... Though only after she and a whole group of Grey Knights ganged up on it. She still ****** him up as he was dying and laid the killing blows, so I dunno how to quantify.

Description of the power of the Men of Iron, from the Perpetual Audio Drama:

"There were weapons in the old days that could do it. Weapons of immeasurable power, tech-devices employed by both the Iron Men and the alliances that stood against their cybernetic revolt." Oll remembered the horrors of entropic engines that ignited planets, sun-snuffers that coiled like serpents the size of Saturn's rings, mechnivores ingesting data along with the cities that contained them and hurling continents into the heavens, omniphage swarms stripping flesh from a billion bones in the blink of an eye.

Jesus, they could also eat the raw data of space-time and bite chunks off the Warp.

@Azzy
... I...

According to Watchers of the Throne: The Emperor's Legio, Terra has a pretty interesting population number...

"I am alone again now. Strange to say that, surrounded as I am by the quadrillions of the Throneworld, and yet it is truer now than it has ever been."
I remember when I looked up how large the Warhammer Imperium was, and the results were like, "oh the entire galaxy is probably a few quadrillions"

Yeah, maybe a little off there.
