This was always a tg thread.

But seriously, like the profile? Took me plenty of work.

Gabriel should also be easy.

I mean, to be fair, most Chapter Masters aren't even ******* close to scaling to the Tier 5 stuff. They're usually just better Spehss Muhreens, unless they have the luxury of the main character buff.

I want to read the "Sisters of Battle" series badly.

I wander if the Sister Superior on that benefits from MC Powers.

I would assume so. Celestine's Geminae Superia, before being killed and brought back to life, managed to actually hurt a daemon prince with their blades due to their will and faith when only seconds earlier, multi-melta shots at close range barely even tickled it.

Is Calgar the strongest Space Marine of them all?

He seems the have the best feats ignoring outliers like Sicarius vs C'tan Shard

Like of regular loyalist Marines? Quite possibly. Dante would be another strong contender, but aside from him being reported to have defeated Skarbrand under unknown circumstances, I don't know many of his feats that match up to Calgar's. Logan Grimnar is up there, too.

The fact that "I, Cato Sicarius" is actually canon. He said it in a recent book...

I also keep hearing that there's a Custodes named "Citen" in one of the new books, but I can't find evidence for it.

@Az i assure you the FF message is a character analysis, the subject of who would win between the Everchosen and the Warmaster has embittered me into not caring, i desire to speak and know if Abaddon is the better written character thanks to ADB in contrast to Rob Sander's Archaon.

@Morkar

Yeah, ADB really makes Abaddon an interesting, multi-faceted character. So many other writers portray him as a Saturday morning cartoon villain.

I'll check my PMs when I get home (using my phone, atm).

That's ******* incredible.
If the second is true as well, I will be extremely pleased.
I dunno if it is, but there is a Custodes named Dio.

YES!

hey @Matt, there is a Ultramarine called Dio Promus i think, in the Crimson King. you want to know this fate?

"Promus was confronted by Bjarki who asked if the daemon's who asked if the claims were true, that he murdered loyalists in the past and what he did for Malcador. Promus admitted it was true but refused to explain the secrets he was bound to keep. Svafnir Rackwulf ended his life in response."

@Azzy

Speaking of Slaanesh, I found a great quote about the Warp in the Tome of Excess.

Wait a second, getting the PDF up again...

Here:

It is said that a civilisation creates its gods in the image of its people. Often these gods are nothing more than inventions of the mind, more placeholders for ideas than actual beings of power and influence. This cannot be said of the Dark Gods of Chaos. As horrifying as they are powerful, the Ruinous Powers are real, a truth made apparent thousands of times each day as their actions manifest in the material world.
These monstrous gods reside in an ever-changing realm of pure Warp energy, where time, distance, and scale have no meaning. It is a place where the whims of gods along with the dreams and nightmares of mortals run together and bring form to the formless. From raw Chaos, creations otherwise unimaginable are routinely given substance. Entire worlds coalesce in an instant. Formless desires that once inhabited only the subconscious of a shattered mind spring into being and consume the body and soul of the broken mortal whose tormented visions gave them life. Then, just as quickly, these worlds and beings dissolve back into the swirling energies from which they came. For most manifested creations, this is the usual nature of existence in the Realm of Chaos.

Ynnead is pretty grimdark themselves. They're the embodiment of the death of all things. It's an eldritch, horrofying thing.

Only reason why the characters aren't afraid of it is that's it's pointed at the right target.

@Matt, may i please speak to you about Liber Chaotica? it is set on WHF BUT here is the thing, the book is a In-Universe analysis of all the Chaos Gods, and the writer accidentally pears into the Warp, in fits of madness he sees the 40k's Chaos MArines, Daemon Engines and the like, you want me to pass you those images?

I think I heard that this was a thing, but it wasn't confirmed to be literally that.

Feel free to pass that.

well i had the theory that he used the Warp accidentally as a telescope, and saw the other galaxy/universe where the Chaos Gods inhabit, does that confirm the Daemons are the same in 40k as in AOS and WHF? (there will be a NEW RPG edition soon! WOOOOOOO!)

Also Matt do i create a blog to show the scans of Liber Chaotica?

@Mork

You could put the scans on Imgur

@Azzy

I'm bored right now. I'm thinking of making a Tier-List for the 40K Gods.

Think that could be done?

@Matt sorry man, but...i would love to make the blog...and i am doing it so...you think it would be illegal? should i put the "all this belong to Games Workshop" warning?

i am really sorry for not being clear: each book is about the Chaos Gods, and each one deals with a small portion of 40k. 14 pages for Khorne, 7 pages for Slannesh, 4 for Tzeentch

@Matt you there? what i am doing is bad?
