Nah TES was great BECAUSE it lets you **** around and destroy the game, it literally started out as a fantasy life simulatorI'm not, not Doom or whatever, just like TES and Fallout.
That's neat, hope TES 6 uses this again and actually have a good combat, wich is my main complaint. You used to be able to create your own spells in daggerfall
I like the jank ass combat but I get why people wouldn't it's super repetitive. That's neat, hope TES 6 uses this again and actually have a good combat, wich is my main complaint.
You deserve no second chance to live, sirelden ring is mediocre in every aspect and open world is what doomed it
You should there rated that highly for a reasonAll soulslike are mediocre
I haven't played any soulslike
Pls someone buy for me
The funny part is that I think of starting with DS2, since it is the cheapestAlso if you skip DS2 I don't blame you
DS2 was made by a different creative director and you can really feel it, it introduces some good mechanics but adds twice as many bad mechanics IMOThe funny part is that I think of starting with DS2, since it is the cheapest
yeah there’s a reasonable explanation for this, it’s called those lazy ***** couldn’t be bothered to use a new engine cause they’re cheap as hell.Bethesda games are broken.
Holy ****. And I used to say that "Skyrim is only popular because Witcher 3 released 4 years later"@M3X 2.0

I remember doing this one quest in skyrim where someone died in the entrance of the area, and you had to do some detective case mystery and for some reason at a certain point, because I decided to choose a decision the game didn’t want me to take, the quest bugged out and I literally couldn’t finish it. There’s also the fact that Bethesda just loves to hamfist you into specific ways to play the game that genuinely annoyed me, like how the Stormcloak leader you couldn’t kill on your own at all because he’s an important NPC that can only die if you did the Imperial side quests.
Fallout’s not exactly any better with Bethesda, granted I had a lot more fun playing Fallout 3 than I did Skyrim but my god was the lore butchered beyond repair, and it didn’t help Fallout 4 bastardized so much of Fallout’s core gameplay features for the sake of wide appeal, and yet they have some of the laziest writing/dialogue choices I’ve ever seen in a WRPG. I could go on a massive rant on why Bethesda is hot garbage and why Starfield and TES 6 is likely going to be so underwhelming, especially since Skyrim dropped Witcher 3 and Elden Ring kinda blows Todd’s baby out of the water. But I’d be here all day.
Bethesda has gone downhill so much in the past decade.I don’t have much faith with Bethesda these days anymore, fallout 76 was the point where my rose tinted glasses shattered with this company and realized how much of a lazy ass they are, though looking back on it the signs were there, especially with Fallout where in 4 the NPC dialogues were so bare bones it literally did not matter what you said half of the time, the NPCs either repeated the exact same thing they say, or say something slightly different but it still means the same thing. I feel like Bethesda is just gonna rely on brand recognition for TES 6 to sell well, I would genuinely be surprised if TES 6 goes back to what everyone has said Morrowind and Daggerfall was with freedom or what Fallout 2 did, especially Fallout 2 cause that is one of the best Role playing games I played in terms of the role playing.
Yeah, the modding community for both Fallout and Skyrim always comes in clutch by fixing a lot of the games by actually making them playable. It’s legit really sad when there’s over 4 major games they’ve released and dozens of Skyrim rereleases that they do not care about fixing their old games.
Also just a reminder, Todd Howard saying there’s thousands of planets to explore in Starfield (AKA fallout in space), do not trust him, when Fallout 3 was in development he literally said the game had over a hundred endings and it wasn’t an exaggeration, where in reality the game barely had like… a dozen endings at best and that’s including the blink and you miss it screenshots of the areas you explore, when in actuality there’s like 3 endings at best, with 1 being retroactively canon thanks to Broken Steel DLC.

Oh yeah, The Outer Worlds. It's a good gameAKA fallout in space
It's the natural evolution Bethesda's games would've had if they werent lazy. It's a good game.Haven’t played it, heard some mixed things about the game. Though if Obsidian impresses me with KOTOR II and New Vegas I’ll give it a shot.
well said. Also, Terraria is one of the best games of all time.
It is a good game. My first playthrough on hard mode was over 50-60 hours. The main problem is that the game is "incomplete", since the developers had to cut a good part of what they planned, and to have some ideia, they deleted a whole ******* planet. But still, somehow, the game is extremely enjoyable to play. The only major problems I can think of about is the variety of enemies and weapons, as well as the endings (Not that theyre bad endings, you just don't imagine the game will end so soon).Haven’t played it, heard some mixed things about the game. Though if Obsidian impresses me with KOTOR II and New Vegas I’ll give it a shot.
BasedI'd say Minecraft is the best game of all time. It's on every platform and played by all ages.
Nothing else comes close.
Yes but it’s the mods, the videos, the Lego sets, and other forms of media that make Minecraft what it is.Minecraft is only alive thanks to the fans and mods tbh
I kinda agree with this, Haru is introduced way too late and her arc gets rushed as a result (she barely gets anytime to mourn her murdered father and quickly ends teaming up with her father's murderer too while also having the responsibility of essentially becoming a CEO, I know people process grief differently but Persona 5 was too hamfisted with it's approach and don't even get me started on some of the endings lol!).I say this as someone who was introduced to Megami Tensei through Joker's inclusion in Super Smash Bros: Persona 5 is grossly overrated and, outside of a handful of characters and story arcs, has some of the worst writing in the entire series.
Shhh!@The_Axiom_of_Virgo the developer of FEZ would like to disagree with you on that last line.
@Deceived3596 can you roleplay as a pornstar and prank call the US government and be a mafia goon while sleeping with your boss’ wife and daughter in Kingdoms of Amalur? If not it’s the weakest WRPG.
Tbh it was the same energy as saying "singleplayer games are dead" personally developers should just focus on their own concepts instead of worrying about the competition or other projects (from trashtalking others to straight up copying).I do find it funny that he tried to trash so many Japanese developers saying they needed to get with the time during the 7th generation when the western side has had Skyrim dum down so much of the Roleplaying, Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 being a black sheep in their own series. Where with JRPGs we got Nier, Dark Souls, and Valkyria chronicles that generation.
GoW (Norse) alone nullified that silly debacle/claim, the other games were just the icing on top. It's just one step closer to justify charging players extortionate prices for "newer" games while locking most of the content behind multiplayer or other non-physical sources such as DLC (essentially the customer doesn't truly own the product they paid for, instead paying for a "service" as a result).@The_Axiom_of_Virgo Oh my god do not remind me of that shitshow, 2017 was somehow the best and worst year for gaming in a while, and EA killing off Visceral Games because single player games are dead was some of the dumbest take I’ve seen when Final Fantasy 15 sold like hot cakes and Persona 5, BOTW, Nier, and so many other games from 2018 onward did so well as single player games.
That's an intresting comparison.
