Arceus should be Tier 2-A because of the following reasons:

Arceus is stated numerous times to be the creator of the entire Pokemon reality and acts as the overseer of all parallel universes of which there is an infinite number as a result of the Reflection Cave, which creates an infinite chain of universes, which in turn creates an infinitely expanding multiverse. every game sold is it's own separate cosmology as a result of Link Cables, which are proven to exist in-universe, numerous times. Created The Creation Trio and Lake Guardians, who are merely aspects of Arceus themselves. Stated by official sources to be capable of destroying all of existence. Trascends the material multiverse and the entire Creation Trio are mealy aspects of him.

Explanation of Link Cables + Refutation to Finite Multiverse Pokemo

So after having a long debate with someone. That gave me an idea to make a post about how Link Cables work (given if they physically apply to a verse) and explain the implications behind them. In addition, i seek to refute the notion that Pokemon's Multiverse isn't infinite, which people have started to argue against. Anyways let's get out with the show

Link Cables

For those of you who grew up with a Gameboy. You likely known of an object called a Link Cable. Well the purpose of a Link Cable is to link separate games together and essentially connect two separate worlds. Now in both Mystery Dungeon and OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire, it's shown that Link Cables are actually canon + they are things applicable to the verse. When using Link Cables to traverse to another world, it's described as "crossing Space and Time"

^ All these things prove that Link Cables + any function that allows travel across different games are indeed canonical and aren't just a Gameplay Mechanic without any significance

The Implications

Since Link Cables are proven a thing, this also suggests that each game is a separate world and aren't the same reality. This is further proven by the fact when you send a Pokemon to another game, it's described as "sending a Pokemon through Space and Time". Indicating that each game is separated by Space-Time and the same reality. With that in mind, we can conclude each game sold is it's own reality and as such, giving us a Multiverse

https://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mo

Pokemon as a series has sold atleast 301 Million Units, which as shown above translates to universes (Likey more, as each game holds it own versions of Pokemon's Cosmology). So this proves that Pokemon has well over 1001 Universes

Refutatio

There's no evidence that each game sold is a separate universe

That's easily debunked by the fact when you traverse to other people's games, it's said that you are traveling across Space and Time. Which proves that each game shares a different Space-Time Continuum.

Link Cables only connect different Pokemon Generations/Games

That's not how Link Cables work. They only connect games from the game generation. So that completely ignores the core function of what a Link Cable actually does. As i mentioned, it's proven each game sold i separated by Space-Time

Pokemon having an Infinite Multiverse

So before i even get the refuting this section, i'll link my post that explains how Pokemon has an infinite multiverse in the first place. Anyways, read the post itself before reading the refutes

https://plus.google.com/+SuperBearNeo/posts/FzrFi8T34RD

Now let's refute the arguments against it

The Mirror Cave creating an infinite chain is an assumptio

This isn't an assumption. The Mirror Cave itself connects universes without beginning or end, this logically creates an infinite chain of knitted universes. As The Chain itself never begins in any universe or ends in any universe, meaning that essentially creates an infinite chain due to not ending or beginning

ad in┬Àfi┬Àni┬Àtum /╦îad infə╦ên─½dəm/Submit adverb again and again in the same way; forever. "registration is for seven years and may be renewed ad infinitum" synonyms: forever, for ever and ever, evermore, always, for all time, until the end of time, in perpetuity, until hell freezes over; More

The idea the Infinite Chain goes on for Ad Infinitum is Circular Reasoning and a Hasty Generalizatio

Let's look at what a Circular Reasoning Fallacy is and why it's fallacious

"Circular reasoning takes the form: A implies B, which implies A, which ..."

"Circular reasoning is fallacious because reasoning and justification must start with the known and then determine the unknown - in the case of circular reasoning, it starts with the known and ends up with the equally known, thus it proves nothing."

>This argument doesn't fall under Circular Reasoning, as we already know The Mirror Cave itself has no beginning or end, as in, it doesn't start in any universe, nor does it end in any universe. The premise itself relies on a logical deduction that is supported by evidence

>Hasty Generalization falls under the same issue. There isn't a insufficient to deduce that the chain is infinite, as that comes as a result of the chain itself not ending in a any universe or even starting in any universe

The Mirror Cave doesn't have Infinite Space, thus it's not infinite

What's in the cave doesn't really matter. The Infinite Chain comes as a result of the fact the chain doesn't start in a universe or end in a universe, as a result, it infinitely connects universes

Conclusion

Link Cables in Pokemon prove that each game in Pokemon sold, is a separate cosmology with it's own separated Space-Time. Which is one of the things that proves Pokemon is a Multiverse, as Pokemon has sold over 301 million games, which are represented as universes in the game

Furthermore, Pokemon has an infinite chain, which in turn makes Pokemon an infinite multiverse due to connecting universes for Ad Infinitum

Pokemon 2-As are WAY above baseline

Summary

As many of you are aware, this wikia rates The Creation Trio as 2-A (Multiverse Level+). However today I'm going to show you why they don't just clock in at baseline but their superiority to average baseline is much greater than one could ever imagine. Let me just say right off the back that The Creation Trio are definitely infinitely above baseline but it doesn't stop there and as this post will show, It gets insanely more higher than just an infinity greater relative to 2-A tier. Before I start explaining how much above baseline that The Creation Trio are, we must understand their feats and how they scale to The Multiverse (Yes, I know, it's kinda unnessary, but it's required so people don't have to go looking for why The Creation Trio are the level they are and to keep things all in one place)

Why The Creation Trio are 2-A To Begin With

" In the beginning, there was only a churning turmoil of chaos. At the heart of chaos, where all things became one, appeared an Egg. Having tumbled from the vortex, the egg gave rise to the Original One. From itself, two beings the Original One did make. Time started to spin. Space began to expand. From itself again, three living things the Original One did make. The two beings wished, and from them, matter came to be. The three living things wished, and form them, spirit came to be. The world created, the Original One took to unyielding sleep... "

~ The Original Story

This is the Original Story, which details exactly how Pokemon was created, including it's entire cosmology. This also gives us an insight on how The Creation Trio actually created all of existence. Essentially Arceus created the fundamental concepts and laws that govern everything (Creating Palkia, Dialga and Giratina, who embody these retrospective concepts) and the Creation Trio themselves created the actual structure itself, including the multiverse and many other things contained within Pokemon's vast reality. Since Pokemon has an infinte number of realities due to an infinitely linking chain of universes and running on Multiverse Theory (I'll make another blog on that later, although how it's 2-A is explained on their respective profiles), this comes out to be Multiverse Level+ (or 2-A for those who prefer the number tiering instead). There are a shitton more feats that exist and prove they are 2-A, but this section is only explaining why they are that level to begin with. Now we get to why we are actually here....Just how far above baseline are The Creation Trio with their powers

How Far Above Baseline Are The Creation Trio

In Pokemon, one metafictional detail we have is the existence of Link Cables. In Pokemon, they are treated as means of players being able to physically interact with other players across games. Link Cables have always been a thing since the beginning of the series however OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire essentially expanded on their existence and ultimately proved it as well. Now what this means is, every game of Pokemon is essentially it's own cosmology and should be relatively the same size as one another. What this means is that each game has it's own copy of Pokemon's Cosmology (aka an infinite multiverse). It should be noted that Arceus and The Creation Trio created absolutely everything in Pokemon and without them, nothing would exist, so they scale to this. That knowledge alone puts the number at 293+ million times above baseline 2-A (Except those 293+ times are infinity increases, as each game sold is it's own cosmology and thus contains it's own infinite multiverse). The notion that games possess their own cosmology of Pokemon also stems from the fact that even traveling across dimensions and space-time is still contained within a game and crossing them doesn't cross over into another game. So this again suggests that Link Cables are the only methods of traveling to another game and also means that each game has it's own multiverse and collection of universes. Each of those have multiple timelines from the past or future, which have been confirmed to exist when time travelling with Celebi, who has gone to the past quite often (as well as the future), and is said to come from the future.. Plus, future tech is talked about quite frequently in that July lore drop. We also have to consider the fact that Extralink also proves the fact Link Cables exist and that traveling across link cables exists in universe. Basically, the number they are above baseline is so big, I can't even really put into words, as it's genuinely that big

Conclusions

Arceus and The Creation Trio vastly exceed Baseline 2-A and are in fact, so superior to regular 2-A, that the number itself cannot even be countable. Likely the degree to which they surpass baseline 2-A is innulmberable and undefinitable by any countable or known value. This basically means, that through AP alone, Arceus can essentially oneshot your average 2-A several times over and without much effort either due to such superiority

301 million <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< infinity

Arceus will never be 2-A using your logic and at most high into 2-B if everything else is accepted.

The Mirror cave is expanding infinitely but it is not infinite. Its expanding may be why it is stated as not having an end or beginning.and is why the Mirror cave is approaching infinity as well. In other words, it will never expand to be infinite.

If something is expanding infinitely then by definition it has a beginning. You can't expand without something tp expand from.

I'm linking the Mirror cave to the Pokemon games sold which is definitely not infinite and expands infinitely unless Pokemon games stop being made. It has no beginning because there is no standard universe to expand from. You don't need to expand from something just with Arceus' power.

Ad-Infinitum means it goes on to infinity, not that it's already infinite. This just means Arceus is very high into 2-B as the multiverse is endlessly expanding. Since the only thing that would remotely imply 2-A is the Refection Cave argument which isn't legit, then there's nothing else to discuss here.

Their AP is also more or less the same context as the Mario cast's AP as well.

Can someone resize and adjust the images please? It's really stretching the page.
rather could this just be closed seeing that all points are just supporting their current 2-B rating rather than pushing an upgrade.

I edited the images. The google+ infinite multiverse argument link doesn't even work though, and everything here is either already accepted (on a 2-B level) or banks on reflection cave being infinite universes, which is debunked above and in several other threads before this.

Im confused. Shouldnt the reflection cave result in an outright infinite number of universes as opposed to infinitely expanding? Unless there is a good argument against it im not aware of.

Ionliosite said:
Because you can't reach infinity by stacking finite numbers?
I mean... If a universe exists in one mirror, and the mirrors in that universe have new ones which exist etc. Then thats not infinitely expanding or creating a new universe apon another. They all exist at once with literally no end or finite limit to them. That sounds like an infinite chain which goes through different universes to me.

Unless maybe you argue the chain/web ends somewhere.

I mean, i do at least agree with the ap adjustment. The infinite mirror thing i do actually somewhat buy. Though if the multiverse is more commonly portrayed as approaching infinity then im fine with very high end 2-B at least.
