Touma's Durability Minor Upgrade

So, as far as I am concerned, Touma can survive a variety of attacks with his IB. However, his plain physical durability without his Right Hand has not been looked upon very much. Looking at some of his fight scenes, I think his physical durability would be up to Wall level.

This video details the fight with Oriana and one of the nuns.

For the nun, she fires a shockwave that sends wood splinters flying everywhere and Touma pinned to the wall. He is unable to block the attack using his IB and ends up having his back shredded by the splinters. He keeps going without any pain.

Then, for the fight with Oriana, the first fight has him being thrown back by her Dark Saber and Water Ball, then a ground blast that sends him a couple meters into the air. He cannot block these three attacks.

Now the really awesome ones. For Touma's final fight with Oriana, she first summons a fireball which Touma negates, yet it was a distraction for the real attack, which Touma cannot block. It is a giant explosion shown here.

He took it point-blank, and gets right back up afterwards.
And even better, his fight with Accelerator:

He took a collision of two freights seemingly filled with bombs, causing a giant explosion that spans the entire warehouse they were fighting in. Neither him or Accelerator seem bothered at all.

So, this would possibly need to get a calc, to prove that there might be a dura upgrade. Feel free to discuss.

If I remember, Touma also got beaten by Tsuchimikado normal attack. Is that means Tsuchimikado normal attack actually wall level? I think Touma higher durability mostly against shockwave or aoe attack. But yea, it seemingly that Touma is hard to knocked out via normal punch or blunt attacks.

1: We don't know the potency of Oriana's explosion.

2: There's aboslutely no way Touma tanked the Dust Explosion -- which, by the way, were not filled with bombs. It was a chemical reaction of ignition that Accelerator ignited the air with via friction to create a Dust Explosion.

"There are stories of explosions in mines, right? Those don't happen because someone didn't use their explosives properly." The voice sounded like it was grinning and enjoying itself. "They were caused by the fine dust from the stones filling the air in the mine. A lot like now."

Touma l miraculously survived and by no means tanked it, because he was running for dear life. As read here where he only received part of the shockwave:

Kamijou had just barely managed to escape the curtain of flour when it happened. The shock wave struck his back and knocked him down to the gravel, but he managed to avoid being enveloped in the flames themselves.

However, a dust explosion was different from a normal explosion because it used the oxygen in the air as fuel. The explosion instantly stole all the oxygen in the area which lowered the air pressure dramatically. 164 Fortunately, it had occurred outside rather than in a sealed area, so a vacuum was not created. But the sudden change in air pressure internally squeezed on his organs to the very limit.

If it had actually been a vacuum, his body would likely have burst open from the inside. "Gah…Ahh…!" Kamijou moved his battered body and just barely managed to stand up as the sea of flames lit the switchyard up as if it were the middle of the day. He turned around toward the pile of containers he had fled from.

None of these are really enough to upgrade his durability. The source material takes precedence over the anime adaptions.

nah he simply goes with the explosion direction, like how he tanked some low saint lvl hit, he just does what boxer does and move WITH the punch and not against , so most of the impact is redirected
