Valentine has 2-A defensive hax protecting him. Even if you can deal with the hax, there is still physically a multiverse between you and him. You basically need spacial manipulation and hax resistance to even hurt him. Also, you have to either be able to kill him in one attack or be able to deal damage that follows the soul, because otherwise he just swaps bodies and is fine.
Also, if you put him on the ropes, you'll need to be able to deal with time stop, because he is likely to summon Alt Diego brando if he thinks he is gonna die. Worth noting, but most people who can beat him will end up one shotting him
