Wait didn't Galeem need to absorb the Master Hands in order to do the funny laser blasts and crush the universe? That just seems like normal absorption to power up a funny laser blast that crushes the universe rather then being 800 times above baseline? We don't make Toei Super Saiyan Goku as being comparable to Legendary Super Saiyan Broly because he was given enough energy to one shot him while saying "now the real fight begins"

Anyways, just wanting to give my opinion on the nature of the Off-Waves. i believe they are hax, but in a way like... death manipulation / instant death.

See, canonically all characters in Smash were originally trophies, using Smash 64 and Smash Melee as a basis. they were literally toys given life. so maybe the Off-Waves just remove that spark of life in them.

As said above, that special gun Wario used transforms others in trophies and if i'm not mistaking even when characters defeat each other they become trophies
