Upgrades are finally complete so I can actually make this match now.

The kind substitute shinigami that would not kill unless you push him to his mental limit vs The ultra who is among the kindest person ever but will not hesitate to choose violence and kill if you try to pull some evil stuff in front of him after he gave you the chance to stop

Ichigo ran through a thick forest, looking for something, something that he had seen flying above Karakura Town, something that landed somewhere in this forest. Ichigo was deep I thought, coming up with explanations for what he had witnessed, until the string of thought was broken by the sight of a crater.

"Damn, did that flying ball-"

Before Ichigo could finish the thought, rays of light interrupted him. it's source? The giant humanoid standing in the center of the crater.

"What the hell is that, an Alien!?" Ichigo shouted in shock

"You could say that, I am not of your world after all" the giant responded to his remarks

"You understand what I'm saying?"

"Of course, you are not the first human I have conversed with"

The giant stared at Ichigo and continued "though you are fully human, right?"

Ichigo, surprised by the question, responded "does it matter?"

"No, it does not" said the giant

And from those very same unmoving mouth came more words "I am Cosmos, Ultraman Cosmos"

"The name's Kurosaki Ichigo"

The two conversed with one another, sharing their own experience and struggle, the challenges they went through, and the enemies they faced. They were deep in talk until the crack of dawn, where Cosmos asked Ichigo something that had caught his eyes

"I sensed from you a great darkness, yet you do not seem to be influenced by it, what is that power?"

"Oh, that's my Hollow powers, forgot to mention it, but I'm part Hollow"

"Do you have control over it?"

"Yeah, pretty much"

"I see" Cosmos stood up and gazed at Ichigo

"If it is not to much trouble, do you mind showing me this Hollow powers? I would like to understand it better"

"Like a sparring match? Sure, we could do that. I kinda wanna see what you can do"

"I ask that you not hold back"

"You sure? I don't wanna hurt you, y'know"

"I assure you, I can handle what you throw my way"

A small smirk appeared on Ichigo's face "Alright then, get ready"

What are Ultraman usual moves and battle tactics ? i'm not familliar at all with this serie.

Well to begin with Ultras are all giants so they are huge. Though Cosmos is capable of turning himself small down to human size so that might not be a problem. But I don’t think they would normally turn small. So assume ultras start off as giants.

They normally start off by simply in close combat with martial arts. And Cosmos’ physical attacks have energy drain. Though depending on the circumstances and how tough their opponents are ultras’ would also use some of their special abilities like their energy blast, barriers that reflect attacks, and other techniques to seal movement and abilities.

Cosmos is a bit on the passive side when he starts off with Luna Mode. So he probably won’t start off with his hax abilities unless Ichigo starts overpowering him. And if he realizes he’s outmatched in strength he would turn into his combat form Corona Mode. Though sometimes he would also enter that form if Luna Mode is having some troubles. But I’ll go into that form’s abilities later once we get to the part where Ichigo makes him enter said form with Gran Rey Cero Getsuga Tenshō probably.

Also other ultra series supporters are waiting for bleach supporters to come before jumping in so maybe you guys can also give a quick summary of Ichigo’s stuff for them when they come online in like a few hours from now.

Well, with only skiming throught Ultraman profile and your explanations , the first issues for Ultraman would be the hollow corruption he would suffer after any wound Ichigo inflict and the few million degree(downscaling from bankai Yama) from the getsuga that could vape him on the spot and end the match unless his immortality is combat aplicable.

Ichigo would have the better mobility options as well from what i can see with his multiple short term speed amps, making him harder to hit.

Are Ultraman haxs thought based and hit instantly or do they require hitting the opponent with cqc/projectiles ?

Hollow corruption is like soul corruption and stuff right? All ultras resist soul damage and corruption stuff and their resistance is also layered and stuff last I checked. This part is mentioned in the Ultra Physiology page listed in their abilities section. I’m not to knowledgeable on how great their soul resistance and stuff are so you’re gonna have to wait for other supporters about that.

And regarding temperature, ultras of the Heisei Era are far stronger than the Show Era ultras whom can survive Zetton’s One Trillion Degree (Celsius) Fireball. So a few million degrees is nothing to them.

Yeah Ichigo definitely has the mobility advantage here thanks to his size. Though Cosmos can also amp his speed in short bursts in all forms like Ichigo does. Like the ultras are by no means slow despite their large size.

Their hax aren’t thought based they are active. At least most of the ones I know aren’t. Though they are also capable of using Ultra Psychokinesis which doesn’t need them to hit both offensively and defensively. Like Cosmos can just look at Ichigo and use that to telekinetically stop him in place and deflect attacks with it.

Ichigo have multiples FTE amps that he can stack and they make him harder to sense via extrasensory perception. i don't think his size is that much of an issue comparativelly, as you said Ultraman can alter his size to a normal human if he have troubles hitting Ichigo specifically because of that.

That TK is nasty, Ultraman would most likely win as soon he decide to use it. Until the revisions that would buff his lifting strengh,if Ichigo do not try to end the fight quickly, he can't do much against Stellar level instant TK restraining him . Unfortunately, Ichigo isn't the type to do that in characther so...

Alright that’s one vote for Cosmos. But huh thought there would be more of a back and forth between Cosmos and Ichigo since they both start off with close combat and energy attacks.

Though you are right that telekinesis is broken as hell. Even in series that stuff is capable of allowing weaker characters to briefly restrain and deflect attacks from enemies that are like twice or thrice as strong as they are. It’s what allows weaker characters to beat stronger characters despite being inferior in AP and speed.

They briefly restrain the target for a few seconds and then charge up their strongest move to finish the enemy.

Yeah I know about Eclipse Mode. It’s just that we didn’t even reach the point where we talk about Eclipse Mode Cosmos vs Merged Hollow True Bankai Ichigo in this battle and now it just sounds like Cosmos is more likely to win thanks to his Ultra Psychokinesis.

There would be a nice back and forth. Their forms are pretty close in terms of AP ,both are pretty skilled and resist most of the other hax. If we assume Cosmos don't use the TK until their final clash, then it would be a very entertaining fight to watch and could go either way.

But when Ultraman decide to use TK then it's pretty much over given the massive diff in lifting strengh for now, on top of his Future Mode beating baseline HoS bankai by x3 AP. And until revisions,i think this version of Ichigo can't use blut to tank Ultraman attacks while restrained or do anything against the TK.

So it's either Cosmos win via TK incap, or he can try to one shot ichigo or beat him to death while he is restrained.

Yeah like I was originally expecting the battle to be a really fun back and forth like this.

Luna Mode starts to overpower Ichigo via slightly higher AP and martial arts skill.

Ichigo decides to use his small size to his advantage and fire a GRCGT and forces Cosmos into Corona Mode to block it albeit with injuries.

Ichigo sees that Cosmos’ strength has increased and that he got faster. So after a short battle where he is quickly overpowered he decides to go Bankai.

Cosmos responds to this by transforming into Eclipse Mode and they have an epic battle where they fight at high speed and spam beams at each other with Ichigo holding the advantage due to his slightly higher AP and scaling.

And then Ichigo decides to finish the fight with the GRCGT in his True Bankai state forcing Cosmos to finally enter Future Mode and block it but getting wounded even further.

By this point due to Cosmos’ wounds even if he was stronger than Ichigo he wouldn’t be that much stronger anymore due to his injuries. But then he pulls out a clutch win by using telekinesis to stop Ichigo as he was in the middle of firing another GRCGT. And than defeats him with one of his beams thanks to his now higher AP.

They shake hands after the battle for good sportsmanship as it was a good fight between two kind protectors of their respective verses.

Well not beat him to death, most of the time, Cosmos ended the fight with the opponents being subdued without any harm

Oh yeah Blut. Man forgot that was a thing. But wow Ichigo has like what another 10x multiplier after the revisions right? A 1v1 fight probably won’t be fair once the revisions hit sadly. Let’s just enjoy this match when it’s still available and addable right now.

Though maybe after the revision we can do Ichigo and Orihime vs Cosmos and Justice. Two protectors and their partner/other half fighting each other. Would be fun to see as Cosmos and Justice have the combination technique Cross Perfection which is several (3) times stronger than their normal beams.

So that should be able to hurt Ichigo even if he has Blut. Not to mention Cosmos does drain energy with his physical attacks so maybe by the time they all use their strongest forms they would all be wounded

A bit of corruption wouldn't really do much to Cosmos since even one of the fodders of the series was able to withstood countless souls trying to corrupt him.

Cosmos could just use his TK and just repeatedly attack Ichigo.

Probably yeah. But it would be more epic and cool if we see Cosmos clutch a win with TK against Ichigo after they both use their full arsenal/forms. Anyways any other votes.

Like I checked the rules and it seems like the thread maker can also vote so I’m voting Cosmos via telekinesis and higher base AP compared to Merged Hollow True Bankai Ichigo.

Just gonna add that Cosmos has mostly used his TK to subdue or immobilize, but given his degree of mastery of it, he'd definitely use it offensively if needed. Also, I don't remember if it's there yet, but hia forms also gives him an increase in potency in his techniques.
