The outerversal realms

I'm a little bit confused... the whole revision about Umineko (which made me realize how interesting the verse is) lead me to some questions. Are there outerverses "bigger" than others? Lovecraft with all the gates is something wierd; Umineko cosmology is rather pretty descriptive but the whole thing about realms is something that intrigues me... I'm doing this because my point of view is something that I don't know if it is right.

Bigger may be the wrong term, perhaps greater is a better way to describe it

The Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, and Cthulhu Mythos verses seem to have outerverse structures that reach to higher degrees than others, but it is not my area.
