The New Dragon Quest Thread

Could someone post the calc requests with the images for Megante and Hadlar shaking the island? I'm having trouble with uploading stuff in imgur.
 
Also, sorry for bothering you ab, but can you make a calc request for the two feats I listed in the calc request thread?

The second feat involves Avan sacrificing himself to cast megante, an explosion spell powerful enough to disperse a storm.

About the Ryuumajin boost, I don't think the Gigabreak doubling in power would constitute the form having a double in power. I think what it meant by saying that was that the moves "base power" so to say is doubled, you know how in Dragon Ball like the kikoho/tri-beam was considered more potent than that of the kamehameha? Dai later used that move against Hyper Demon Hadlar and although he still lost, the spike in power from that move being much more potent than Avan Strash let him damage Hadlar a bit in the clash.

Also just realized Dai's Avan Strash blast crossed a lot of distance very fast

Did everyone see the latest episode? Man I can't wait to get to Hadlar and off the island to see Crocodine.
 
Well yeah lol we've known about the Avan prequel for ages now but I have been unsure about the English name. I know it's getting a proper chapter on October 21st.
 
It was announced back in the May 31st stream. The Zipman guy is going to do the art for it though Riku Sanjo will still be writing for it.

First it needs to be evaluated to be made sure though.
 
I sadly don't have DQ 9, so I might not be able to assist, but if you want to make them, that's perfectly fine.
 
True, but I've only done GB and SNES Emulators before. I'm probably gonna have to use my laptop for a DS Emulator.
 
Completely out of the blue, but I think that Vearn's phoenix wing should be at least a 5x's multiplier to his durability. The idea is simple, with it he can block Double Crest Dai's Giga-Strash (with only a small scratch) which is stated to be his ultimate move, making it stronger than Avan Strash Cross which itself is stated to be five time's stronger than a normal Avan Strash, which is significantly stronger than Dai's normal attacks.

Phoenix Wing >> Giga-Strash > Avan Strash Cross >>>>> (five times) Avan Strash >> Double Crest Dai's normal attacks.

After some thinking, I'm not so sure on Young Vearn scaling to Avan Strash Cross, since with it Dai was able to cut his left arm off, so it would look like this=

Phoenix Wing >> Giga-Strash > Avan Strash Cross >>> Young Vearn >> Avan Strash >> Double Crest Dai's normal attacks.
